[Service Guide] Maker Studio Reward Type Selection and Document Upload Improvements

Hello, this is Wadiz.

Wadiz offers a wide variety of reward types and provides detailed guidance on documents necessary for project progress, improving Maker Studio so that makers can more conveniently upload documents and proceed with their projects.

Moving forward, we will transparently disclose policies and do our best to provide better services to our makers.

Starting from 2:00 PM on June 29, 2021, this will be implemented, so please refer to the detailed improvements below.

1. Key Updates

1) Added maker verification and consent process for document submission

To build a trustworthy service, a maker verification and consent process before document submission will be added. As you proceed through each stage, the required documents and precautions for that stage will be provided. 

2) Expanded reward type selection method from 1 level to 4 levels

We have significantly expanded the choice of reward types by breaking down the reward types that were previously selectable at 1 level into 4 levels. You can select more accurate and appropriate reward types than before, and through the add function, you can select up to 5 main reward types per project.

3) Improved document guidance and upload when selecting reward type and production form

Documents that were previously provided as a general overview when selecting 1 level rewards will now be guided as a specific list of required documents tailored to the 4 level reward types you selected.

Required documents can be confirmed immediately upon selecting reward types in Maker Studio, and individual upload functionality by document type has been added so that makers can upload and manage documents more conveniently.

4) Download restrictions on supporter information when KC certification document is not submitted

For some hardware rewards that inevitably require a long certification process, you can submit KC certification documents by the time of shipping. To ensure safe rewards are provided to supporters, the functionality to view and process supporter shipping information is provided only after all relevant KC certification documents have been submitted. 

If shipping information download is restricted, when you click the download button for payment and shipping information in Funding Maker Studio - Funding & Shipping Management, you will receive a separate email guide from Wadiz to submit KC certification documents, so please note this and submit documents according to your planned shipping schedule.

※ For hardware rewards directly related to supporter safety, document submission may be requested during the requirements verification stage.

2. Application Target

Projects submitted on or after 2:00 PM on June 29, 2021 

The service application date has been changed. (June 24 at 2:00 PM → June 29 at 2:00 PM)

※ Projects not yet submitted must re-select reward types after the maker verification and consent process for document submission. (Documents previously uploaded are moved to the Other Documents section, so please refer to them when writing.)
