Wadiz, a funding store platform, announced that CEO Shin Hyeseong participated as a leading Korean crowdfunding representative speaker at 'BEYOND Expo 2025' held in Macau from May 21-24, where she shared global expansion strategies.
Now in its 5th edition, BEYOND Expo is Asia's largest technology and innovation expo that began in 2021 and is held annually at the Venetian Macao Cotai Expo in Macau. This year, approximately 30,000 global innovation company representatives participated, with over 300 speakers.
The theme of the 2025 event is 'Unveiling Possibilities,' which carries a message to transform uncertainty into opportunity and explore infinite possibilities.
In particular, this year, a newly launched program for Asian companies' overseas market entry (BEYOND BGlobal Network) provided opportunities for connection with global partners and strategic planning.
CEO Shin Hyeseong of Wadiz participated as a Korean representative panelist at the 'BGlobal Summit' session held on May 22, with the topic 'The Role of Crowdfunding in Global Expansion for Asian Companies.' The session featured representatives from Asia's leading crowdfunding platforms as speakers, sharing their respective experiences and insights.
Featured speakers included ▲Cheryl Tang, Asia-Pacific Regional Director at Indiegogo, ▲Ryotaro Nakayama, CEO of Japan's Makuake, and ▲Ryo Umezawa, Co-founder of Vector.
The speakers introduced global market entry strategies and success cases utilizing crowdfunding, emphasizing the potential of crowdfunding for Asian companies to acquire early customers and increase brand awareness. CEO Shin's participation was noted as an example demonstrating Korean companies' interest and commitment to global expansion.
On the 23rd, CEO Shin Hyeseong held a solo presentation on the topic 'Beyond Korea: Crowdfunding Without Borders.'
In her presentation, CEO Shin stated, "AI-based funding services will accelerate not only K-brand but also global brands' overseas market entry," and emphasized, "Asia is already creating the world's most innovative products and content, and Wadiz will serve as a bridge connecting this creativity and passion to the entire world."
Meanwhile, Wadiz officially launched its 'Wadiz Global' service in May, introducing 'K-Funding' to customers in over 200 countries worldwide.
This service supports domestic makers to acquire their first overseas customers and establish themselves stably in the global market. Through features such as AI-based translation, overseas shipping partner matching, and global targeted advertising support, it helps domestic small and medium enterprises with unclear overseas expansion paths to pioneer new sales channels.
