Wadiz is launching the '2025 Global Expansion Promotion' that supports overseas shipping fees of up to 10 million won. Any maker who opens a global project through Wadiz from July 7th to August 31st can apply. Even new makers who have never conducted Wadiz funding before can participate.
Makers who launch global funding or pre-order projects during the application period and achieve 100 overseas payments first will receive up to 10 million won per brand in full shipping support. However, once the budget is exhausted, the program will close on a first-come-first-served basis.
This promotion was created to provide new brands and small business owners who have debuted in the domestic market through Wadiz and formed brand communities with their first opportunity to expand globally, and to provide substantive support for these efforts.
In addition to shipping fee support, there are abundant benefits available simply by participating in the promotion, including △large-scale advertising and marketing support △free coupons fully covered by Wadiz △featured showcase page exposure to overseas supporters.
Meanwhile, Wadiz launched 'Wadiz Global' service on May 21st, connecting customers from 200 countries. Wadiz Global is a service that helps domestic makers secure their first overseas customers through crowdfunding and stably enter the global market.
Within a month of launch, over 5,000 overseas customers from 83 countries signed up, and actual payments occurred in 17 countries, demonstrating global interest in Korean crowdfunding projects.
A Wadiz official stated, "We planned this promotion to reduce the burden of overseas shipping fees, which small business owners and new brands feel is the biggest challenge when expanding overseas," adding "We hope it becomes a successful starting point for meeting overseas customers through Wadiz funding, rather than staying in the domestic market only."
