How is settlement processed for makers outside of Korea?

Payments for makers holding a business registration certificate from a country other than Korea will be processed according to the policy below.
- Note: Overseas makers—including those represented by agencies—who are officially registered as businesses in Korea are subject to the same settlement process as Korean makers.
▶️ Payment Method for Korean makers
✔️ Starting with submissions made on or after June 1, 2026, the same settlement method as for Korean makers will apply.
✔️ Payments are processed through Stripe or PingPong Payments.

Settlement Process
- It takes 5 business days from the project end date to send the advance settlement statement.
- You can also view the settlement statement under the “Maker Studio - Settlement Statement” menu.
- You can also view the settlement statement under the “Maker Studio - Settlement Statement” menu.
- After the settlement statement is issued, the advance settlement amount will be deposited according to the “Settlement Schedule” below.
- Please mark shipments as “Shipped” in the “Maker Studio - Shipping & Refund Management” menu so that wadiz can verify the Rewards delivery status.
- Once all Rewards have been shipped, we will begin the final settlement process.
- From the shipment completion date, it takes an average of 12–16 business days (Korea: 20–24 days) to issue the final settlement statement.
- Once the 15-day (Korea: 25-day) refund period following the shipping completion date ends, the settlement statement will be sent within 1 business day.
- You can also view the settlement statement under the “Maker Studio – Settlement Statement” menu.
- After the settlement statement is issued, the final settlement amount will be deposited according to the “Settlement Schedule” below.
- The final settlement amount is calculated in U.S. dollars (USD).

Settlement Schedule
- Wadiz processes settlements weekly for makers holding a business registration certificate issued outside of Korea.
- The schedule below is based on Korean time; if Wednesday is a public holiday, the settlement amount will be paid on the next business day.
- Eligibility: Projects for which a settlement statement was issued between Monday and Friday
- Payment Date: Wednesday of the week following the issuance of the statement

📢 Starting with projects submitted on or after June 1, 2026, the advance settlement service policy will apply equally to both Korean makers and makers based outside of Korea (overseas).
Makers whose business registration address is in a country outside of Korea (overseas) can also apply for the advance settlement service for pre-order special bundles and limited-edition projects.
