Wadiz Releases 2025 Government-Supported Small Business Crowdfunding Performance Results
- Over 140,000 Participants in 2025… Cumulative 12.2 Billion Won Funded·1,000+ Projects Underway
- From Local Small Businesses to Prospective Startups and Entrepreneurs… The Social and Economic Impact Created by Crowdfunding

Wadiz Impact, a subsidiary in charge of education and government projects under Wadiz, has disclosed major achievements in creating social and economic value through crowdfunding targeting local small businesses, prospective startups, and entrepreneurs throughout 2025.
Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) announced that over 1,000 projects conducted by local small businesses, prospective startups, and entrepreneurs attracted participation from 140,000 members of the public, resulting in accumulated funding of 12.2 billion won.
Wadiz operates the 'Our Neighborhood Crowdfunding Support Project' in partnership with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Business Market Promotion Agency, supporting small businesses' fundraising and market expansion. In 2025 alone, the project saw participation from over 400 small businesses, achieving 8.4 billion won in funding with over 93,000 supporters engaging in projects.
Particularly this year, Wadiz expanded the Our Neighborhood Crowdfunding Support Project to a global format, providing global marketing and advertising support, creating opportunities for small businesses to enter global markets.
Regional specialty food and lifestyle brands have validated initial demand through Wadiz funding, leading to subsequent expansion of distribution channels.
Through the '2025 Agricultural and Food Product Crowdfunding' Support Project operated with the Korea Agricultural and Rural Community Fund, 144 agricultural and food companies achieved cumulative funding of 2.3 billion won. Diverse agricultural and food projects, ranging from direct farm shipments of fruits to processed foods and specialty products using imported raw materials, validated market viability through crowdfunding.
Crowdfunding support has also continued in the climate technology sector. In the 'Gyeonggi Region Climate Tech Startup Crowdfunding Support Project,' launched for the first time in 2025, over 100 companies applied, with 20 startups finally selected based on technological capability, market viability, and social value.
Selected companies received comprehensive support throughout the crowdfunding process, including offline funding education, detailed page creation, customized advertising, and feature page exposure, generating approximately 200 million won in funding and attracting 2,200 supporters.
Projects presenting climate solutions such as eco-friendly materials, resource circulation, and vegan and upcycled products garnered significant attention in a short period.
These achievements demonstrate that crowdfunding is being utilized as a means to validate market viability for early-stage ventures across diverse sectors including local small businesses, prospective startups, and entrepreneurs. This is considered significant in that ideas at the conceptual stage can confirm actual demand through supporter participation and subsequently pursue growth strategies.
Choi Dong-chul, CEO of Wadiz Impact, stated "The 2025 achievements demonstrate that crowdfunding can create both social value and economic results," and added "Moving forward, we plan to expand support to enable local entrepreneurs and innovative startups to validate opportunities and grow in domestic and international markets."
