[Transparency Report] September Transparency Report - Focusing on Key Funding Data #TrustAndFundWithWadiz

Wadiz has been publishing a monthly Transparency Report since August 2020. 

The Transparency Report contains the details of complaints filed by members with Wadiz and the actions taken by Wadiz. Through this report, Wadiz aims to share actual data with members on how it manages and responds to project issues. Wadiz does not merely declare its goal of minimizing project risks — it strives to build a platform environment where members can use the service with greater confidence by transparently disclosing the current status of its responses to issues.

1. Number of Reports Received in September

• The number of reports received was measured based on reports submitted via "Report This Project" located on the right side of the funding project page, and even when multiple reporters file reports against a single project, each reporter is counted individually
• The types of reports received include reasons contrary to the purpose of funding, such as false information in the project story, simultaneous sales on other channels, infringement of intellectual property rights, and undermining the public interest
• The number of reports received is a key indicator showing potential risks that could directly or indirectly cause harm and dissatisfaction to supporters
•  Please note that "Report This Project" underwent a partial update following a service restructuring on October 6; however, the September Transparency Report is based on September data prior to the service restructuring

2. Number of Reported Projects

• The number of reported projects refers to the number of projects with at least one report, and even if multiple reporters submit reports, a single target project is counted as 1
• However, this figure also includes cases where the report was determined to have "no issue" following fact-checking after the report was received
• The ratio of reported projects to the number of open projects is a key indicator representing the proportion of projects among all projects that could cause harm and dissatisfaction to supporters

3. Category Types of Reported Projects

• All funding projects on Wadiz are classified into one of 16 category types
• As a result of categorizing the 199 reports received in September, categories with a high proportion of electronic products, such as Tech · Home Appliances and Sports · Mobility, were found to have a higher number of reports

4. September Report Action Results

• As a result of fact-checking, if product defects or delivery delays are confirmed, guidance on applying for a refund will be provided in accordance with the 'Funding Refund Policy'
• During the fact-checking process, if the maker's explanation is required, the maker is requested to provide a statement via an official notice, and if the maker fails to provide a statement, the report and statement details are disclosed publicly through News  

*Ineligible Report: A case where the reporting criteria are not met, or where there is insufficient supporting evidence to substantiate the report content, making it difficult to take follow-up action  

*Previously Closed Issue: A case where the reporting criteria were met, but fact-checking had already been completed in the past as of the current month and was closed as 'no issue', or where necessary measures such as 'project cancellation' or 'funding refund' were already completed, making further follow-up action unnecessary 

*Determined No Issue: A case where the reporting criteria were met, but fact-checking of the reported content resulted in a determination of 'no issue' based on policy, and the case was closed without further follow-up action   

*Issue Action Completed: A case where the reporting criteria were met, and fact-checking of the reported content resulted in a determination of 'issue found' based on policy, and follow-up actions such as funding refund, project cancellation, or a statement request via News were taken
