Funding & Pre-order
Is a real product photo required when submitting a project?
It depends on the category.
- For relatively simple products like goods/merchandise, rendering images are sufficient.
- However, for cosmetics, home appliances, and similar products, you must insert the final real product photo into the story.
- Performance tickets, goods/merchandise, music tracks, and paper items (publications/postcards, etc.) can proceed without a sample.
- For Social & Campaign / Tech & Home Appliances / Children's Products / Safety-Certified Household Chemical Products / Quasi-drugs / Beauty (Cosmetics) / Food / Hygiene Products categories, a sample (real product image) is required to proceed with the project.
- For Culture & Artist categories — including goods derived from performance tickets or artworks / Character & Goods / Board games, LPs, tapes, CDs / Publications, postcards, and other paper items — the project can proceed with rendering images only, without a sample.
- However, during the review process, a 'Reward Estimate Inquiry Document' is required to assess the feasibility of reward production. Depending on the case, the person in charge may also request real product images.
