[Transparency Report] December 2021 Transparency Report - Focused on Key Funding Data #TrustAndFundWithWadiz
Wadiz has been publishing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report that contains member reports submitted to Wadiz and the results of measures taken in response to them, and is composed based on funding report data. Through this report, Wadiz transparently discloses actual data on how it responds to project issues, aiming to create a platform environment where members can use it with greater trust.
1. Report Submissions
- 'Report Submissions' is measured based on the number of reports received through the 'Report' feature on the right side of the funding project page, and when there are multiple reports on a single project, they are counted multiple times by the number of reporters
- Report submission types include 'Intellectual Property Infringement', 'False Information in Story', 'Distribution of Identical Products through Other Channels', 'Community Policy Violation', etc., which are reasons that go against the purpose of funding or harm Wadiz community order
- The number of report submissions is a key indicator that shows potential risks that could directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and complaints
2. Pre-Launch Report Submissions
- 'Pre-Launch' is a pre-disclosure service that allows supporters to preview the project story before the official funding launch, and a notification signup feature for the official funding launch is provided on the pre-launch project page
- Reports at the pre-launch stage serve as an early risk detection function before the project's official launch, enabling proactive problem resolution before the official funding launch
3. Number of Reported Projects
- 'Number of Reported Projects' means the number of projects that have one or more reports, and even if multiple reports are received, if the reported project is the same, it is counted as 1
- The proportion of reported projects relative to the number of launched projects represents the proportion of projects among all projects that could cause supporter damage and complaints, which is a key indicator
4. Statistics by Category of Reported Projects
- Categorized data of projects that received reports in the current month by category
- Currently a total of 17 project categories exist
5. Results of Reported Project Processing
- All reports submitted that meet report requirements undergo full fact-checking
- For projects where issues are confirmed, policyfollow-up measuresare taken
- If a maker's statement is needed during the fact-checking process, a statement is requested through official correspondence, and if necessary, the report and statement request details are disclosed to supporters as news
*Processing Complete
When fact-checking is conducted on the report content that meets report requirements and, based on policy, is determined to have 'issues', and follow-up procedures such as funding refund, deletion of inappropriate content, or project cancellation are proceeded with. Or when fact-checking is conducted on the report content that meets report requirements and, based on policy, is determined to have 'no issues', and the case is closed without further procedures
*Processing In Progress
When fact-checking on the report content is underway or follow-up procedures are in progress after being determined to have 'issues' based on policy
*Processing Not Required
'Report Not Meeting Requirements' or 'Previously Closed Issue', where follow-up procedures are not proceeded
└ Report Not Meeting Requirements: Cases where report requirements are not met or where it is difficult to proceed with follow-up procedures due to insufficient supporting materials for the report content
└ Previously Closed Issue: Cases where report requirements are met but fact-checking was already conducted in the past based on the current month, and the case was closed as 'no issues' or necessary measures have been completed through 'project cancellation' or 'funding refund', etc., making further procedures unnecessary
