[Transparency Report] April 2022 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been publishing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing reports submitted by members on Wadiz and the results of actions taken on those reports, and is organized primarily around funding report data. Through this report, we aim to transparently disclose actual data on how Wadiz responds to project issues to create a platform environment that members can trust and use more.
1. Number of Reports Received
- 'Number of Reports Received' is measured based on the number of reports received through the 'Report' feature on the right side of the funding project page, and if there are multiple reports for a single project, it is counted multiple times according to the number of reporters
- The types of reports received include 'intellectual property rights infringement', 'false statements in story', 'distribution of identical products through other channels', 'community policy violations', and other reasons that contradict the purpose of funding or undermine Wadiz community order
- The number of reports received is a key indicator that demonstrates potential risks that could directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and complaints

2. Number of Coming Soon Reports
- 'Coming Soon' refers to a pre-release service that allows supporters to view a project story before official funding begins, and the Coming Soon project page provides a function to register for official funding open notifications
- Reports at the Coming Soon stage serve as a function to detect risks in advance before official project launch, enabling proactive problem solving before official funding begins

3. Number of Reported Projects
- 'Number of Reported Projects' refers to the number of projects that have one or more reports, and even if multiple reports are received, if the reported projects are the same, it is counted as 1
- The proportion of reported projects compared to the number of open projects is a key indicator representing the proportion of projects that could cause supporter damage and complaints among all projects

4. Statistics by Category of Reported Projects
- Categorized data by category of projects that received reports during the month
- Currently, there are a total of 17 project categories

5. Processing Results of Reported Projects
- All reports that meet the reporting requirements undergo full fact-checking
- For projects where issues are identified, follow-up actions are taken in accordance with policy
- If a maker's statement of position is required during the fact-checking process, a statement of position is requested through official notification, and if necessary, the report and statement of position request content is shared with supporters as a news item

*Processing Complete
When reports that meet the requirements are fact-checked and determined to be 'problematic' based on policy, follow-up procedures such as funding refunds, deletion of inappropriate content, or project cancellation are carried out. Or, when reports that meet the requirements are fact-checked and determined to be 'no problem' based on policy, and are closed without follow-up procedures
*Processing Underway
When reports that meet the requirements are undergoing fact-checking, or when they are determined to be 'problematic' based on policy and follow-up procedures are underway
*No Action Required
'Report Not Meeting Requirements' or 'Previously Resolved Issue', where no follow-up procedures have been taken
└ Report Not Meeting Requirements: Cases where the report does not meet the reporting requirements or there is insufficient supporting evidence to proceed with follow-up procedures
└ Previously Resolved Issue: Cases where the report meets the requirements but fact-checking was already conducted in the past as of the current month, determined to be 'no issue' and closed, or necessary action has been completed through 'project cancellation' or 'funding refund', making follow-up procedures unnecessary
