Through crowdfunding, continued support from values-driven investors for relief from the Ukraine war and domestic wildfire damage is being demonstrated.
Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr), a life design funding platform, announced on the 11th that it is launching an 'Emergency Relief Funding' project that supports domestic and international disasters through funding and support signatures, donating funds to five relief organizations including World Vision.

This funding opened on the 8th to gather supporters who empathize with the severity of the Ukraine war and domestic wildfire disaster and wish to convey their support for relief. Since opening, both fundings have collected nearly 10 million won in just 3 days, receiving strong resonance.

The distinctive feature of this project is that anyone can participate in fundraising through just sharing on Facebook. Wadiz additionally donates 2,022 won per person each time shared on Facebook through this funding 'support signature' button, and the total amount raised through funding and support signatures is entirely donated for providing safe housing and medical support to Ukraine war-affected residents, and post-disaster reconstruction and animal protection and treatment for domestic wildfire-affected residents. 
 
For Ukraine funding, it will be delivered to the global housing specialist organization 'Habitat for Humanity Korea' providing safe shelter to affected residents and 'Doctors Without Borders' supporting refugees on the ground; wildfire funding will be delivered to emergency relief organization 'World Vision' and animal rescue organizations 'WeAct' and 'Rivers', and details of donation transfers will be disclosed through news.  

A Wadiz official stated, “Ensuring that funds go to places truly needed in the world is Wadiz's reason for existence” and  “We hope that through the work Wadiz does best, gathering the support and will of values-driven investors creates an opportunity to generate positive social impact”.

Meanwhile, Wadiz also conducted relief funding in 2019 for residents of Gangwon Province who lost their homes and workplaces due to wildfires in Gangwon-do, raising approximately 20 million won from 1,155 supporters, and in November of last year, donated 11.3 million won through funding to help birth registration for unmarried fathers' children.
