[Transparency Report] February 2023 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been publishing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing complaint notifications received from Wadiz members and the results of actions taken in response to them, and is composed mainly of funding complaint submission data. Through this report, Wadiz transparently discloses actual data on how it responds to project issues, and we aim to create a platform environment where members can use with greater trust and confidence.
1. Complaint Submission Data
- The number of complaint submissions is measured based on the number of complaints received through the ‘Report’ feature on the right side of the funding project page , and when there are multiple complaints about a single project, they are counted in multiples by the number of reporters.
- The types of complaint submissions include ‘intellectual property infringement’, ‘false statements in story’, ‘distribution of identical products on other channels’, ‘community policy violations’, and other reasons that contradict the purpose of funding or undermine Wadiz community order.
- Complaint submission data is a key indicator showing potential risks that can directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction.

- ‘Number of reported projects’ refers to the number of projects that have received one or more complaints, and even if multiple complaints are submitted, they are counted as one if the complaint target project is the same.
- The proportion of reported projects relative to open projects is a key indicator indicating the proportion of projects within all projects that may cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction.

3. Pre-launch Complaint Ratio
- ‘Pre-launch’ refers to a preview service that allows supporters to view a project story before the official funding launch.
On the pre-launch project page, a notification request feature is provided for when the official funding is launched. - Reports at the pre-launch stage serve asa function to detect risks in advance before the official project launch, and this allows for proactive problem solving before official funding is opened.

- All complaints that meet the complaint requirements areundergoing verification of facts.
- For projects where issues are identified, follow-up measures are taken according to the funding complaint policy.
- During the fact-checking process, if a maker's explanation is needed, Wadiz requests an explanation throughofficial notice, and when necessary, the complaint facts and explanation request details are disclosed to supporters through news.

- Processing Completed
As a result of fact verification proceeding on complaint content that meets the complaint requirements, follow-up procedures such as funding refund, inappropriate content deletion, or project cancellation are carried out based on policy, determined as ‘issues found’, or complaint content that meets the complaint requirements undergoes fact verification proceeding results, and based on policy, is determined as ‘no issues found’ and is closed without follow-up procedures. - Processing In Progress
Fact verification for complaint content that meets complaint requirements is in progress, or follow-up procedures are being carried out based on policy determined as 'issues found'. - Processing Not Necessary
'Non-compliant complaint' or 'previously concluded issue', where no follow-up procedures have been carried out.
⁕ Non-compliant complaint: Complaint submissions that fail to meet complaint requirements or lack supporting evidence to support the complaint content, making it difficult to proceed with follow-up procedures.
⁕ Previously concluded issue: Issue cases where the complaint requirement is met, but fact verification has already been conducted in the past as of the current month, determined as 'no issues found' and closed, or necessary measures have been completed through ‘project cancellation’ or ‘funding refund’, making it unnecessary to proceed with follow-up procedures.
