This achievement was made possible through collaboration with Germany, a country renowned for sleep tech. We asked him for tips on communicating with overseas brands,
we asked him about the essential elements for success for makers preparing for wadiz funding.
He notes that when communicating with European brands, patience is key. Due not only to the time difference but also to differences in work culture between Korea and Europe, it inevitably takes a long time to receive samples.
However, CEO Kang Ji-jun says that because he was familiar with overseas work styles, he didn’t get impatient and continues to collaborate smoothly with the German brand to this day.
He also notes that Diggimi’s key to success was crafting detailed product pages with language that was easy for supporters to understand, as well as
actively communicating details that couldn’t be included in the Story—such as information not covered in the Story or calls for product testers—through the “News” tab.
He also added a very important point: even major retailers are keeping a close eye on wadiz funding campaigns.
Diggimi also reports that their success in funding on wadiz opened the door to distribution channels. They’re currently hosting pop-up shops in department stores!
