Can refunds be limited for simple change of mind before shipping?
Depending on the nature of the reward, if refunds are not possible, you can limit refunds due to simple change of mind before shipping.
If your reward cannot be refunded due to its nature,
Before submitting your project, you can selectively set 'refund restrictions' in the Maker Studio.
Reward types eligible for refund restrictions
- When it's a reward that is individually produced according to orders, such as engraving, stamping, or 1:1 customization
- When it's a reward whose value diminishes over time to the point of being difficult to resell, such as fresh·frozen foods or plants
- When the usage deadline of a reward requiring advance reservation, such as accommodation vouchers or photo shoot rights, is imminent and resale is difficult (However, the proximity of the usage deadline follows the criteria set by the Maker.)
- When it's an electronic ticket (including QR code, barcode, etc.) that is essentially impossible to recover, and significant damage to the Maker is expected
- When it's a product individually imported from overseas, and significant damage to the Maker is expected due to return logistics costs and inability to resell domestically
- When it's a funding project raising and using success proceeds for donation or sponsorship purposes
How to set restrictions
1) Access your opened project [Maker Studio] > Click on [Project Management] tab > [Policy] tab.

2) Confirm the content of [When refunds are not possible due to reward nature] at the bottom and check if your reward applies.

3) If there is a reason why your reward cannot be refunded other than the above refund-impossible types, please describe it in [Other refund impossibility regulations].
