For projects that need the support, support, and support of others, choose the Wadiz Sponsor Fandom category. If an individual, not a business operator, opens a sponsorship and fandom project, you can receive up to 90% of platform fee support. (~2026.12.31)
1. What is sponsorship and fandom funding?
You can complete things together with funding that you can't do alone. Sponsor and fandom funding is not a 'product launch' but a project completed with the power of people who 'empathize and support' the maker's challenges and stories.

You're welcome to projects like this, too!
- A one-man development maker who wants feedback and sponsorship from beta testers before officially launching apps and services made as side projects
- Community leaders who want to gather people to join and pay for operations like a running crew and a climbing meeting
- Creators who want to gather their first fans (readers) by serializing their own creations such as independent publications, newsletters, and webtoons
- A maker who wants to gather people's support for things that are difficult to handle alone, such as rescuing and protecting abandoned animals
- Local creator who wants to record local stories such as our local stores, alleys, and festivals and attract the participation of neighbors
2. How to write a story for sponsorship and fandom funding
The sponsorship and fandom funding story must contain three things below. This is because supporters see and participate in the 'Why should we support the challenges of this maker/project' rather than the 'product'.
1) Target amount and reason for need
Explain in specific numbers and context how much and why you need it. The more clear "for what and exactly how much we need" than "help us vaguely," the higher the trust and participation of supporters. Among Wadiz sponsored projects, cases with high achievement rates commonly accurately introduce the "use" of the target amount.
[Example of writing]
"The target amount for this project is 3 million won. The full funding will be used for fruit transportation, grooming, kennel cleaning, feeding and facility maintenance activities to create a home for a single bear to stay for life."

2) Sponsorship plan
Please disclose transparently where and how you will spend the collected donations. Sponsor and fandom funding is not 'product consumption', but 'sponsor for purpose', so the transparency of the place of use is the reliability of the project. If possible, please write down the promise to share the result report (receipt, photo) after the end.
*For the sponsorship and fandom project, you must inform us of the result of using the donation after the funding is over.
[Example of writing]
"If this funding is successful, 1. Uganda music education sharing documentary, demonstration class video, seminar/training video will be produced and used by local Ugandan teachers in class." 2. I'm going to produce a Ugandan music education sharing essay. 3. I'd like to rent a movie theater for a documentary screening. Therefore, the funding will be used for video production and editing costs, essay publishing costs, and rental costs, and if more funding is collected, we will purchase and provide classroom instruments and school supplies from Ugandan schools. Later activities will be available on Instagram and Naver Cafe."

3) Maker Introduction
Who is working on this project is the core of sponsorship and fandom funding. Along with your picture, please include your history of doing this and the context of 'Why am I doing this'. The more your face and sincerity are revealed, the more you can "trust and support" your first-time supporters. (The maker's introduction photo is a mandatory item for Wadiz screening.)
[Example of writing]
"Hello! I'm Lee Seung Gambi, a singer who sang in the bathroom because no one sang. Recently, thankfully, there are some people who come to visit me, so I've been singing out of the corner of my room and out of the world little by little. Thankfully, I once received a contract offer from an agency. But I knew there could be constraints. I wanted to do a song that I wanted to do without being tied down, and I wanted to be free with people who supported me. We're here to meet the real fans who will believe in our potential and support us."

⚠️ Caution: If the content is insufficient or incorrect, it may be excluded from the sponsorship/fandom category through monitoring.
3. How to Design Sponsor and Fandom Funding Rewards
1) Sponsor/Fandom Funding Rewards Design Guide
Sponsor and fandom category funding can attract more supporters' participation when designing rewards as "grateful for support and return for participation" rather than "goods."
① It's not 'product sales' but 'reward of appreciation and participation'
Please prepare and introduce 'rewards containing the meaning of the project' like goods linked to the list of sponsors, thank you postcard, handwritten letter, result report, and project purpose/target.

② Engagement Design: Invite supporters to a 'process'
Rewards that leave a supporter's mark on the results, such as "List of names in credits/endings," "Sharing production process in real time," "Gift No. 1 finished product," and "Inviting offline gatherings," are strong motives that can only be given by sponsorship and fandom funding projects.

③ Avoid early bird options
Regular projects design ultra/super early bird rewards to increase sales, but please avoid early bird options because sponsorship and fandom funding are not for sales purposes. If you set the option, you may not feel authentic for sponsorship purposes.
④ Transparency: Share results as rewards
If the "Use History Report", "Receipt/photo Disclosure", and "Activity Results Report" are specified in the reward items, supporters can confirm that the funding has been spent as promised, so they can trust and fund more.
