Funding step by step
advertising combinations and budgets
It's helpful for people like this
- It's my first time executing an advertisement, so I don't know which one to use among target, display, or push
- Maker who doesn't know when and how much to spend on advertising
- The maker used up all the budget for the opening, so he couldn't afford it until the deadline
You'll find out when you read this
- What role does Target, Display, and Push Ads play
- How much does the average achievement change when you combine several advertisements
- Which ads should be placed just before the opening date, early, mid-term, and end
Wadiz advertising is divided into three categories: Target, Display, and Push, and the role of each project stage is different. Looking at the project completed from January 2025 to June 2026, 93% of the 10 million to 30 million won group executed target advertisements. Instead of spending all the advertising money at once, the key is to divide it into scheduled, early, mid-term, and just before the end of the opening.
1. 3 types of Wadiz commercials
Wadiz ads are divided into three categories: Target, Display, and Push, and each has a different point of meeting supporters.
Target ads bring new interest outside the Wadiz, display ads let supporters looking around the Wadiz discover projects, and push ads speak directly to supporters who have already shown interest. The exposure location and use time of the three advertisements are summarized as follows.

a target advertisement
|
Facebook and Instagram | Wadiz's visitation, notification application, payment behavior data, and exposure to those who are likely to respond to the project | - When there are still few people who know the brand - When you are constantly gathering applicants for notification that is scheduled to open - When maintaining the inflow from the scheduled opening to the closing |
|

Wadiz App and Web (Main content, multi-content, Open package, funding package, Multi-board, app main pop-up, etc.) |
Expose it in the form of a banner or project card, allowing a supporter on the search to discover the project | - When you focus your exposure on a specific date - When you pull up notification applications in a short period of time - When adding new inflows in the middle of the year |
|
a push advertisement
|
Wadiz app notification, KakaoTalk channel | Send advertising messages directly to supporters who agree to receive marketing | - When you quickly announce the opening schedule - When you need to switch payments on the day of opening - When you announce the closing and final benefits |
2. Difference between advertising execution rate and average achievement amount
The average amount achieved for projects with advertisements and projects without advertisements is clearly different. We looked at the projects that ended from January 2025 to June 2026 divided into Group A (less than 10 million won) and Group B (less than 10 million won) based on the recruitment amount. Group B had a higher execution rate than Group A in all three advertisements, and the average GMV was also 10 times different.

The difference is more pronounced in terms of the number of advertisement combinations. The more diverse the advertisement is used, the higher the amount achieved. The supporters and data collected by advertisements go beyond the success of funding and become assets to grasp the core targets, copies, and images of my brand.

3. Ad placement strategies for each stage of funding
Advertisements are not about executing and finishing them once, but about setting and deploying goals one by one step at a time. We gather notification applicants in the scheduled opening, convert the long-awaited supporter into payment immediately after the opening, continue to bring new interest in the middle, and deliver the last reason to the supporter who hesitated just before the deadline. The core goals and the composition of the four steps are as follows.

① Funding Early Years: Forming a Trend and Transitioning to First Payments
If you wrote "Revealed soon" in the scheduled opening, you should change the material to "Open today," "Early Bird Limited," and "The benefits you can get now" after the opening. The basic advertisement at this stage is a target advertisement that has been switched to the material for payment purposes. Based on Wadiz pixel data, it is a method of exposing high-involvement targets and similar interested users on SNS.
- If you need intensive exposure on the day of opening, use the main content (boosting the inflow immediately after opening with the maximum exposure at the top of the main home) and the app main pop-up (imprinting the project to all supporters at the time of entering the app).
- If you need to remind yourself, use app push (in which you directly inform the long-awaited supporter of interest about the opening to form an initial inflow) and KakaoTalk push (appeal rewards in detail with images and phrases).
- If you want to ease the payment barrier, let's use the method of issuing booster coupons in advance. This is a discount coupon issued directly by the maker, and we issue it in advance for use during this funding period.
② Midterm Funding: Keeping New Interested
The mid-term is divided into 'payment conversion' and 'securing new interest groups'. People who have already seen the project should be persuaded again with reviews, achievement rates, and benefits, and people who are new to the project should be introduced with core functions and usage scenes. Even at this stage, the basic ads are targeted ads based on Wadiz pixel data.
- If you need repeated exposure, use multi-content (repeated exposure to six major areas of the supporter's core search routes such as main home, ranking, friends, and Wish).
- To target additional contacts, use multi-board (exposed in banner form to search routes such as main home and bottom of details) and app push together.
- If you want to secure additional targets, use KakaoTalk push.
- You can selectively use booster coupons.
③ Immediately before the end of funding: inform hesitant supporters of their last chance
Immediately before the end, it is the stage of transferring the supporters who were interested but did not participate to the actual payment. If you execute the funding package on project end D-3, you may be exposed with the label on the verge of closing. The basic advertisement at this stage is also a target advertisement based on Wadiz pixel data (high-involvement target and similar interest user exposure).
- If you need an imminent boosting, let's directly inform the interested supporters who have been waiting with app push and KakaoTalk push of closing news and rewards.
- To enhance Wadiz's internal exposure, we use a funding package. It is a product exposed at the top of the funding+ home banner and list, and when executed at the end of D-3, the 'imminent deadline' label is automatically attached to give a strong stimulus to inducing payment.
- As the last benefit, booster coupons are the most direct tool. When issued two to seven days before the end, the conversion efficiency is the highest, and the supporters who have delayed payment until the last minute are converted into actual sales.
4. How and how long to apply for an advertisement
Advertisements vary depending on the type of advertisement. Display and push advertisements can be applied directly at the ad center, and target advertisements are set at the Biz center. Advertising center ads are registered in the order of campaign setting → product and schedule selection → material setting → payment reservation. I also need to schedule it in advance. It's a good idea to request a review at least three business days before the desired execution date. Display ads are exposed on a daily basis, and push is sent once at the specified time.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Should I use all three advertisements?
A. It's not a must. If the budget is low, it is appropriate to secure external inflows first with target advertisements and place additional budgets at important points, such as packages or pushes to open.
Q. When should I start advertising?
A. I recommend the trend of starting targeted advertisements around D-14 and focusing on the budget in the week immediately before opening.
Q. Should I continue with the targeted ads after opening?
A. Yes. I recommend changing the message from the purpose of notification application to the purpose of payment and leaving the budget to be used after opening and right before closing.
Q. Can I apply for advertising products directly?
A. Display and push advertisements can be applied directly at the advertising center, and target advertisements are set at the Biz center. Advertising center ads can be registered in the stages of campaign setting, product/schedule selection, material setting, and payment reservation.
Q. How many days before do I have to apply for the advertisement?
A. It is recommended to request a review at least 3 business days before the desired execution date. Display ads are exposed on a daily basis, and push is sent once at the designated time.
