- Since the service overhaul, WAi sessions have increased by 15% and the number of makers using the service has risen by 13%… Maker engagement continues to grow

wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) announced the launch of “Story Generation AI,” a new feature for “WAi,” its AI agent designed to help makers write stories for their funding projects.
Story Generation AI is a feature where, once a maker inputs a product’s features and key information, WAi automatically generates a story draft tailored to a wadiz project based on that input. It was developed to ease the burden on makers who are not accustomed to writing or who find it difficult to restructure existing product detail pages into a project format.
It’s also easy to use. On a PC, simply click the “Create a Draft with Story Generation AI” button on the “Create a Project” screen to access the feature immediately. For example, if a maker preparing to launch a pair of glasses that emphasizes a lightweight feel answers questions about the product’s key features and target audience, WAi analyzes this information and presents a Story draft that begins with an introduction such as “For those of you tired of wearing heavy glasses every day.” The maker can then refine this draft to match the product’s characteristics and use it to create their project page.
Last April, wadiz completely revamped its project management environment, centered around the AI agent “WAi” and the integrated workspace “Maker Home.” While the previous version of WAi focused on suggesting next steps in the project management process—such as expanding notification subscriptions, reviewing traffic channels, and formulating operational strategies—the new story-generation AI has expanded its scope to include content creation during the early stages of project launch. The goal is to help makers turn their ideas into funding projects more easily and quickly.
WAi usage is also steadily increasing. The number of sessions involving actual conversations with makers rose by approximately 15% compared to April—immediately following the service overhaul—and the number of makers who actually used WAi increased by about 13% over the same period. This indicates that an increasing number of makers are repeatedly utilizing WAi throughout the project preparation and operation processes, moving beyond one-time inquiries.
The initial adoption rate of the story-generation AI has also been high. Since the feature’s launch in June, an average of about 80% of the generated drafts have been used to create actual project pages. Analysis suggests that by revising and refining the AI-generated drafts, makers are substantially reducing the time and effort required for initial content creation.
A wadiz representative stated, “There are makers who hesitate to launch a project due to the burden of writing a story, even when they have a good idea,” adding, “We will continue to support more makers so they can easily and quickly turn their ideas into projects using the story-generation AI, and leverage WAi’s data-driven guidance even after launch to achieve actual funding results and growth.”
