2. How to Choose the Right Ad for Your Project
To avoid getting overwhelmed by the six options, try answering the following three questions in order.
- What’s needed right now—notification sign-ups or payments?
- Should you focus on a single day, or repeat the exposure multiple times?
- Are you running targeted ads at the same time?
Display ads are highly effective for reaching real-time users within wadiz, so their impact on driving new traffic from outside the platform is limited. The standard approach is to use targeted ads as your base and add display ads to boost visibility at specific times. When you apply the answers to these three questions to your project’s stage, the results are summarized as follows.
|
Project Stage
|
Purpose
|
1st Priority (Core Leader)
|
Second Priority (For Further Review)
|
| Early period before launching soon (D-14 to D-8) | Secure notification sign-ups | Launching Soon Package | Multi-Content · Multi-Board |
| Just Before Launch (D-3–D-Day) | Imminent Launch Announcement | App Main Pop-up | Launching Soon Package |
| First 3 Days After Launch | Payment Conversion Immediately After Launch | Main Content | App Main Pop-up |
| Mid-Funding Period (D+7 to 7 Days Before Closing) | New User Acquisition During Mid-Campaign | Multi-Content | Multi-Board |
| 3 Days Before Closing (D-3 to D-1) | Closing Payment Boost | Funding Package (Closing Soon Label) | Main Content |
| Day of Deadline | Closing Payment Boost | Funding Package (“Closes Today” Label) | — |

STEP 1. Set Up a Campaign
Select a project in the wadiz Ad Center to create a campaign.
STEP 2. Select an Ad Product and Run Dates
Slots for popular ad products (Main Content, App Main Pop-up, and packages launching soon) fill up 2–3 weeks in advance, so be sure to reserve your spot immediately after passing the initial review.
STEP 3. Upload Creative Assets
Upload images and text according to the specifications for each product.
STEP 4. Pay later
You can choose between BizMoney or post-payment.
STEP 5. Review and Approval
We recommend submitting your review request at least 3 business days before your desired campaign start date. Changes to your ad materials will only be reflected if submitted by 3:00 PM one business day before the campaign starts.
STEP 6. Review the Report After Campaign Run
After the campaign runs, you can view the impressions and clicks report in the Ad Center.
4. Precautions Before Setting Up Ads
Mistake 1: Overusing Multiple Ads
It’s more efficient to focus on 1–2 products and allocate the remaining budget to targeted ads and booster coupons.
Mistake 2: Missing the Reservation Deadline
Slots for popular products fill up 2–3 weeks in advance. Check the slot status immediately after passing the initial review.
Mistake 3: Running only display ads without targeted ads
Without new external traffic, there’s a limit to how effective your ads can be. You can boost your results even further by using targeted ads as your foundation and supplementing them with display ads.
5. Checklist Before Setting Up Ads
- I’ve determined the current project stage and advertising goals (notification sign-ups/purchases/awareness).
- We’re already running targeted ads (or plan to run them alongside this campaign).
- I’ve visually confirmed the ad placement for each product in the actual app and on the website.
- I’ve checked the Ad Center to confirm that slots are available for my desired campaign start date.
- We plan to submit a review request 3 business days before the desired campaign start date.
- I’ve prepared to compare the subscription and funding figures before and after the campaign launch date.
6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Is it okay to run only display ads?
A. It’s possible, but we don’t recommend it. Data showing that 97% of successful projects generating over 50 million won utilize targeted ads supports this.
Q. Is it a good idea to run ads for multiple products on the same day?
A. It’s helpful on days when you need to draw maximum attention, such as on launch day. However, please avoid spreading your budget too thinly across multiple products.
Q. Do I need to create the ad creatives myself?
A. The “Launching Soon” package, “Funding” package, “Multi-Content,” and “Multi-Board” use the main image. The “Main Content” and “App Main Pop-up” require separate creative assets.
Q. The slots for popular products are sold out. Are there any alternatives?
A. You can substitute: Main Content → App Main Pop-up; Package for Launching Soon → Multi-Content + App Push; and Funding Package → KakaoTalk Push Slide-Type Coupon.
Q. What should I use if my budget is 5 million won or more?
A. If you apply for the wadiz Advertising Proposal Service, an account manager will recommend a media mix, and you can receive benefits such as a discount of up to 1 million won on advertising costs and 20,000 free app push notifications.
