Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr ) announced that it is expanding the scope of trust management to expressions that AI-generated content can be mistaken for actual user experiences or reviews.
In a recent food funding project, AI-generated person images were created as if they had consumed rewards directly. The image also showed a specific figure of "○○ kg loss," which could have been accepted by supporters as a review of the actual experience.
During the AI monitoring process, the expression was selected as an additional target for confirmation, and the operator's review determined that AI-generated content could be recognized like an actual user experience. Wadiz requested a correction of the phrase and image based on the Fair Trade Commission's "Guidelines for Marking and Advertising Review on Recommendations and Guarantees," and the maker reflected this and completed the action.
Wadiz continues to upgrade its operating system so that the challenge can lead to trust, while creating an environment where anyone with an idea can easily and quickly challenge funding and meet supporters. Recently, the scope of inspection has been expanded to include types in which images or contents using Generative AI can be recognized as actual consumer experiences or reviews.
Monitoring standards will also be continuously supplemented in line with emerging content and expression methods. If additional confirmation is needed, it responds step by step, such as request for clarification, request for correction, and non-exposure, and major operational status and action cases are disclosed through transparency reports.
"The more new technologies and expressions emerge, the more the platform's operating standards should develop," said Heo Ji-eun, COO of Wadiz. "We will keep the maker's new attempts wide open, but we will continue to increase the trust standard for supporters to participate with confidence so that more ideas can lead to challenges."
Meanwhile, the full transparency report can be found at the Wadiz Maker Center and is updated weekly.
