Story Creation Guide
You'll find out when you read this
- You can find out what you must go into the funding details page.
- You can write a basic story even if it's your first time.
- You can quickly draft using WAi.
01. What is the story?
Simply put, it's a detailed page of Wadiz.
In other words, it's about introducing the products we sell. However, due to the nature of crowdfunding, there is a difference in that this work must go beyond just listing specifications and convey the background of the creation and the creator's values in depth. You can also increase the size of your funding.
Why is it important?
Wadiz supporters visit the site not out of necessity, but out of curiosity
Supporters need some product right now, not looking for Wadiz. I visit the site to see the 'fun project'.
Even if you don't need the product right away, supporters can fund it if the rewards feel attractive, or if you feel the authenticity of the maker.
In creative-seeking projects, supporters judge five things in particular.
- Do you sympathize with how you started the project?
- Does the story feel authentic?
- Did you clearly convey the value and appeal of the rewards?
- Can you trust the maker?
- Did you clarify where you used the funding?
02. Story Creation Step 5
If you follow this order, you can complete a story even if it's your first time. If you paste the prompt next to each step into WAi (Wadiz AI), you can get the draft right away.
| Sequence | content to be included | WAi Prompt (use after duplication) |
| STEP 1. | Project title | I'm [creator type: musician/writer/visual artist]. I'm going to fund [work name] in Wadiz this time. The core value of rewards is [core value and effect], and the main target is [target target]. Use the three templates below to create three candidates for the project title. The title is around 15-25 characters, so please write it so that the first-time supporter can understand it right away. [For whom/by whom] + [What kind of reward/project] / [Core value/effect] + [Reward form] / [One line concept] + [Reward name] |
| STEP 2. | Project Preparation Background and Purpose | I'm a [creator type]. I'm going to fund [work name] in Wadiz this time. The reason I started this work is [instrument, background]. | STEP 3. | Project/Reward Contents | My reward is [reward name]. The concept is [one line explanation], the main target is [target reader/user], and you can experience [core effects and changes] through rewards. The form is [real/digital], and the composition is [equivalent to quantities, quantities, sizes, etc.). Write a reward introduction paragraph so that supporters want to receive it |
| STEP 4. | a plan to use funding | The amount raised by this funding will be used for [items]. Please write a paragraph on your funding plan so that supporters can trust you and that you feel this funding is a challenge for continuing your creation, not just selling. |
| STEP 5. | Maker Introduction | I'm [name/activist]. [Activity history and experience] I'm the creator type. The reason for doing this project is [reason]. Please write a maker introduction article focusing on my story. |
03. Essentials for story writing
1)Project title
The title is the same as my first impression of the project. It's important to write well because it's the most powerful tool to show the reliability of your project and induce search exposure and clicks.
If you are unsure how to fill it out, try the three templates below.
Template
- [For whom/ By whom] + [What kind of reward/project]
- Example: First project to produce a ruined singer's album!
2. [Core value and effect] + [Reward form]
- Example: Emojis and goods are easy to make! 3D Modelling Conquering Set Ends with iPad
3. [One line concept] + [Reward name]
- Example: Emotional spring picnic that you prepare at once! Carrendish Oil Pastel Drawing Kit
Write it down and check it out
- Can I know what the project type or reward is just by looking at the title?
- Isn't it too long? (Recommended for around 15-25 characters)
2) Project Preparation Background and Purpose
Please tell me why you prepared the project so that supporters would be interested and how you made the reward. It doesn't have to be grand.
The more honest and sincere the story, the more deeply it touches the hearts of the supporters.
- Writing Tip: The first sentence is especially important for Wadiz Stories. It means that you have to catch the heart of the supporter at the beginning of the story to read the story to the end and participate in the project.
Put a hook in the first line that stops scrolling.
Yes) "I'm doomed! "Will you make a song with me?"

3) Project/Reward Contents
Now, it's time to start explaining the rewards in earnest. The most important thing is to convey the characteristics of the reward in a readable manner.
If you put the following four things in the story, it will be easy for supporters to understand.
|
category
|
a key question | Writing Tips | example |
| 1. Concept and theme | What is this creation? | When supporters first see the story, they should be able to immediately understand what a reward is. | "It's a practical oil pastel drawing kit that I want to carry around like a prop" |
| 2. Target target | What kind of person is good to receive? | The more you poke at a particular person than you need "everyone," the more empathy you can get. | "Anyone who wants to draw but doesn't know where to start? Anyone who wants to draw outside?" |
| 3. Core Values and Effects | What changes will happen if I receive it? | Write about the experience and changes that supporters will gain rather than specifications. | "Drawing kit that opens up anytime, anywhere and allows you to focus on drawing" |
| 4. form and quantity | Is it physical or digital? What about the composition? | Write down how many pages it is, how many songs it is, and how it is delivered. The more invisible the reward, the more important it is to write it down. | "hardcover drawing book (155×217 mm, 50 sheets) + oil pastel 21 colors + tin case + 10 postcards" |
- Writing Tip: If you have more than one option or have an early bird benefit, please highlight the composition and price in the story as well.
Organizing it so that supporters can see what options to choose at a glance will help you switch payments. - Example: <Human Body Data Collection> which is viewed through videos from Anatomy to movements

- Tips for writing: If you are a class project with a variety of options, it is also a good idea to organize recommendation guides as below.
- Example:[iPad drawing] It's a real watercolor and oil-based brush with 111 types + 55 layers!

4) a plan to use funding
If you didn't just fund it to generate revenue, please let me know how you're going to spend the amount you raised. The less specifically you write, the more trust your supporters have.
It's a device that makes you feel that participating in my funding is not just a purchase, it's about making the creator's next work together.
- Available templates
- Summary of the purpose of using the funding
- Detailed Use Plan
- When
- Where
- What and how
- Example: The first project to make a failed singer's album!

5) Maker Introduction
So far, I've explained the project and the rewards, and now it's time to introduce who I am, the maker who made the rewards.
Tell me your story about who I am, why I got to do this project, and what sincere thoughts and processes I went through to find Wadiz.
You don't have to write as hard as your resume. One natural photo taken in the studio, one paragraph of the personal story that started this work, makes me trust much stronger than a fancy introduction.
- Example:[Gokseong, Pumyo] A perfect guide to K-Oriental philosophy, 'Korean version of the occult drawing'

04. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. How should I produce and place the reward image?
A. It's better to use a picture that shows what a reward is at a glance and not to put anything in the image.
In addition, please avoid making the story into a whole image (a way of putting everything in the image) in order to improve readability on mobile, be advantageous for search exposure, and work well with global translation function.
Use the Maker Studio editor to input the description directly in text and upload the image file separately for the reward photo!
Take advantage of the checklist below!
- Rewards photos based on physical, do you see the Rewards identity right away?
- Was the explanation written in the text area, not in the image?
- Did you organize important information (price, composition, shipping, precautions) once more in the text?
- Didn't you make the text in left alignment, whole image form?
- Didn't you put Korean text in the GIF and video image?
Q. Is there an image size limit that I can register for a project?
A. Please insert the image of the project story and the story scheduled to be opened according to the following criteria.
- I recommend an image with a width of 1024px or less. If you insert an image larger than this, the image may look broken on your mobile.
- You can upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF images under 10MB.
Q. Can I draft a story with AI?
A. With Wadiz AI partner WAi, you can quickly draft a story by entering product features. In addition, the story AI summary function automatically provides a summary so that supporters can quickly grasp the core content.
Q. Is there any expression I should be particularly careful about when writing a story?
A. Creative projects are also subject to advertising review standards, so you need to pay attention to expressions. In particular, false, exaggerated, and guaranteed expressions should never be used. Phrases that confirm results such as "unconditional success" and "100% satisfaction" or guarantee or imply principal recovery and future returns in investment and return-related content can cause rejection of the review or suspension of the project.
Also, copyright and portrait rights infringement elements are not available. If you steal other creators' works, dramas, movie scenes, celebrities, characters, and music without permission, or cite broadcast capture, song lyrics, and SNS reviews without permission, it will be a reason for sanctions, so make sure to check the guidelines for pre-opening story advertising!
