A Complete Guide to the wadiz Funding Process | From Creating a Project to Settlement
Updated: June 26, 2026
Wadiz Funding Stage Summary
Take this with you!
- Open: Wadiz can open the project immediately on the date and time the maker wants without any pre-screening and approval procedures.
- End of funding: Even if you don't achieve the target amount, the maker will pay 0 won.
- Seonjeongsan: We are giving you up to 80% of the funding in advance to reduce the cost burden of producing rewards.
The first thing you should know when you first prepare for funding is 'the whole flow'. Because if you figure out in advance what order the project is going on, it's much clearer what stage I'm at now and what I need to prepare for next.
In this article, I will point out the entire process of Wadiz funding in order, from project preparation to opening, supporter payment, sending rewards, and final settlement. When you're done reading, you'll see the whole flow of funding clearly in your head.
Wadiz Funding Step 6 At A Glance
① Create a project
② Project Open
③ Project termination and supporter payment
④ Seonjeongsan Mountain
⑤ Production and delivery of rewards
⑥ final settlement
STEP 1. Create a project
It's the step of writing what you need to release the project. Funding can be opened even if you are not a business operator.

💡 Make sure you know that
It won't be released right after the project is created. You can modify the information anytime until it opens, so feel free to check the information you need first!

STEP 2. Project Open
If you're done writing the project, click 'Book Open' to set the desired opening date and time. Wadiz can open the project immediately according to the date and time the maker wants without prior screening and approval procedures.

- Open Scheduled Disclosure: A minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 25 days to pre-release the project before the actual start of funding. During this period, those interested in the project can apply for a reminder in advance. If you gather interested supporters before opening like this, you can attract more participation at the start of funding.
- Project Disclosure and Termination: This is the period during which actual funding will take place from a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 60 days after the scheduled opening. Funding begins on the set public date and automatically closes when the end date comes.
💡 Make sure you know that
- After the project is opened, AI monitoring can be conducted and the project information can be modified or additional document submission can be requested depending on the results.
- If it's your first funding, I recommend you to proceed with the scheduled opening.
STEP 3. Project termination and supporter payment
The project will automatically close at midnight (24:00) on the end date set in STEP 2, and Wadiz funding will be paid when the target amount is achieved after the end.
Therefore, the supporter payment will be made for two days after the completion of the project, and the final amount of the payment will be paid to the maker (success fee).
💡 Make sure you know that
Projects that fail to meet the target amount will not be paid by supporters, and there will be no Wadiz fee. There is no cost for the maker, so don't be afraid of failure and get started.
STEP 4. Sesung Mountain
When the payment is completed for 2 days in STEP 3, you can get a part of the payment successful (funding) first. Wadiz will pay up to 80% of the funding first through the Seonjeongsan Mountain policy to reduce the cost burden of producing rewards.
Standard for payment of selected calculation
| Funding of less than 10 million won | 80% of the amount after deduction of commission |
| Funding of more than 10 million won | 60% of the amount after deduction of commission |
Time for payment of selected production
- Within 5 business days from the end of the project: Send the selected calculation statement
- After sending the selected calculation statement: Payment of selected calculation on the nearest payment date (excluding Monday, Wednesday, Friday/holiday)
💡 Make sure you know that
Funding and preorder projects in Korea are automatically paid for selection without any application.
STEP 5. Produce and ship rewards
If you've received a reward, it's time to produce a reward and deliver it to your supporters. The final settlement will proceed if the maker studio sets the period for sending rewards and sends them within that period and processes 'sending completed'.
💡 Make sure you know that
- Final settlement = Funding - (Wadiz fee + selected payment + refund amount)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Do I have to apply for the production of Seonjeong to receive it?
A. No, I'm not. If it is a funding and preorder "domestic only" project, the selection fee will be automatically paid without a separate application. If the settlement statement is sent after the supporter's payment is completed, it will be deposited within 5 business days.
Q. What happens after the reward dispatch period?
A. There is no penalty even if the shipping period is exceeded. However, for trust with supporters, it is recommended to set a realistic date for sending rewards and to inform you in advance of new news if the schedule changes.
Q. What is the difference between the scheduled opening and the opening?
A. The planned opening is like a wedding invitation, which is a feature that reveals the project in advance and collects notification applicants for up to 25 days before the main funding. If it's your first funding, I recommend using the opening schedule to secure supporters in advance. Based on actual Wadiz data, notification applications gathered at the scheduled opening stage accounted for about 58% of the initial sales of the opening. (As of January to May 2026)
