1. What is News?
- News is a bulletin board that is activated after the project open is announced.
You can directly select supporter types (All / Participating / Wishlist / Notification Request / Support Signature) and post freely without any limit on frequency or format.
- When you upload news, you can send app push notifications and emails to supporters.
2. How to Post News
You can create and upload news directly from the [Maker Studio] > [News] menu in your project.
- When posting news, you can directly select whether to send notifications and the supporter types to receive notifications.
- Choose whether to send notifications: You can select one of the following in the [Notification Delivery] section at the bottom of the news. \n
Send Notification: News notifications are sent to the selected supporters.
Don't Send: The news is posted, but no notifications are sent to supporters.
Select supporter types to receive notifications: If you choose to send notifications, you can select the supporter types to receive them.
You can customize notifications by selecting only the supporter types that need notifications.Select All

- Choose whether to send notifications: You can select one of the following in the [Notification Delivery] section at the bottom of the news. \n
- We recommend posting at most once every 3 days. Posting news every day may increase supporter fatigue.
- Avoid uploading during early morning or late night. It's best to post between 11 AM and 5 PM.
- You can pin 1 news item to the top of the story for exposure.
- In the news editor's checkbox in the top right corner, clicking it will pin the news to the story.
- News created and pinned during the pre-open period will disappear after the project opens. After the project opens, please create new news and pin it again.
