Wadiz, Brand Incubator of the Funding Ecosystem, 'Wadiz X' New Corporation to Launch

- Operates services for brand scale-up including annual funding planning and marketing strategy execution
- Conveyed commitment as "Will drive rapid growth as a partner for small brand scale-up"

Wadiz is accelerating its 'brand incubating' business by selecting and nurturing brands with high growth potential.
Life Design Funding Platform Wadiz announced on the 19th that it will launch a new subsidiary 'Wadiz X' with expertise in business opportunity expansion and scale-up for funding makers.
Wadiz X is a 100% subsidiary of Wadiz established to support sustainable growth of early-stage companies whose potential has been verified through funding. It operates services for brand scale-up including annual funding planning and marketing strategy execution for promising makers. By selecting a certain usage fee, it provides and partially carries out consulting for Wadiz channel and business goal achievement. The usage fee includes platform listing fees and costs of marketing activities overall including product page planning, internal and external advertisements of Wadiz, and planned sales.
The head is Hwang In-beom, the former CBO of Wadiz. President Hwang is a founding member of Wadiz, has set up and grown the funding sales organization, and has successfully launched new businesses such as Space Wadiz and Wadiz Store.
Wadiz Inc., the parent company, was established in 2012 and has led the nation's largest crowdfunding platform Wadiz for 10 years, building a funding ecosystem. More than 54,000 projects have been launched cumulatively, and over 1,000 new projects are underway monthly on average. Makers who have conducted one or more funding rounds amount to over 25,000 teams. Wadiz decided to invest in a new subsidiary to help small and medium brands that have potential but lack internal personnel or marketing know-how for business growth and to grow together.
While Wadiz has focused on enabling startups and SMEs that need capital to start businesses and enter the funding ecosystem, Wadiz X will become an 'incubation partner' to support scale-up for sustainable growth and formally launch a model of co-growth with Wadiz.
To this end, business operations will be conducted in connection with Wadiz, the parent company operating the funding platform, and Wadiz Partners, a venture capital specialist subsidiary. The policy is to provide brand incubation services to early-stage companies with successful funding experience who have been invested in by Wadiz Partners or wish to raise investment.
Hwang In-beom, CEO of Wadiz X, said "I have been supporting and watching small brands that start businesses through funding grow," and "Based on the accumulated success experience and know-how, I will actively discover brands that can create strategic synergy and become a scale-up partner for makers."
