[Transparency Report] August 2023 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been publishing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing reports submitted by Wadiz members and the results of actions taken on such reports, and is composed primarily of funding report submission data. Through this report, Wadiz aims to transparently disclose actual data on how it responds to project issues, thereby creating a platform environment where members can trust and use with greater confidence.
1. Report Submission Data
- The number of report submissions is measured based on the number of reports submitted through the ‘Report’ function on the right side of the funding project page , and when there are multiple reports for a single project, they are counted as multiple based on the number of reporters.
- Types of report submissions include ‘intellectual property infringement’, ‘false statements in story’, ‘distribution of identical products through other channels’, ‘community policy violation’, etc. These are composed of reasons that contradict the purpose of funding or undermine Wadiz community order.
- Report submission data represents a key indicator showing potential risks that can directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and complaints.

2. Number of Reported Projects
- ‘Number of reported projects’ refers to the number of projects that have received one or more report submissions, and even if multiple reports are submitted, projects with the same target are counted as one.
- The proportion of reported projects compared to open projects is a key indicator representing the proportion of projects among all projects that can cause supporter damage and complaints.

3. Coming Soon Report Rate
- ‘Coming Soon’ refers to a pre-disclosure service that allows supporters to preview project stories before official funding starts.
The Coming Soon project page provides notification request functionality when the main funding opens. - Reports at the Coming Soon stage function to detect risks in advance before project official opening, enabling proactive problem resolution before official funding launch.

- For projects where issues are confirmed, follow-up measures are taken according to funding report policy.
- During the fact verification process, Wadiz requests statements from makers when necessary through official documents, and when necessary, publicly discloses the report facts and statement request details to supporters through news.

- Processing Complete
As a result of fact verification on reports that meet report requirements, cases where it was determined as 'issues found' based on policy and follow-up procedures such as funding refunds, inappropriate content deletion, and project cancellation were carried out, or cases where after meeting report requirements and conducting fact verification on the report contents, it was determined as 'no issues' based on policy and was concluded without follow-up procedures - Processing In Progress
Cases where fact verification is ongoing on reports that meet report requirements, or cases where follow-up procedures are in progress after being determined as 'issues found' based on policy - Processing Unnecessary
Cases of 'unqualified reports' or 'previously concluded issues', where follow-up procedures have not been carried out
⁕ Unqualified Reports : Report submissions that fail to meet report requirements or lack supporting evidence to substantiate the report contents, making it difficult to proceed with follow-up procedures
⁕ Previously Concluded Issues : Issues that meet report requirements but had already undergone fact verification in the past as of the current month, were concluded as 'no issues' or necessary measures were completed through 'project cancellation' or 'funding refund', making it unnecessary to proceed with follow-up procedures
