Wadiz, a pioneering company that established the domestic crowdfunding industry, has surpassed 1 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume.
The lifestyle design funding platform Wadiz recently achieved 1 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume for the first time in its 10-year history of service, recording consecutive record highs in new project openings over the past three months, as announced on the 15th.
The 1 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume announced this time holds great significance as it was created through the support and sponsorship of the public, providing opportunities to makers with startup ideas but insufficient capital. Companies that succeeded in funding on Wadiz have attracted follow-up investments exceeding 800 billion won in publicly disclosed amounts. As public support and validation lead to institutional investment, a virtuous cycle of startup ecosystem initiation and expansion is occurring within Wadiz.
Wadiz's growth trajectory in developing the funding industry alongside the needs of small business owners requiring capital and companies seeking new distribution channels is evident even at the point of achieving cumulative transaction volume. It took 67 months to reach 100 billion won in cumulative transaction volume, but 200 billion won was surpassed in 9 months, and 1 trillion won from 900 billion won was achieved in just 5 months.
Wadiz, with the vision of 'creating a world where anyone can challenge,' has pioneered the domestic crowdfunding industry and built a business model of mutual prosperity with small and medium enterprises, achieving average annual growth of 106% based on transaction volume. The number of projects has expanded significantly from 100 annually at the time of official service launch in 2014 to approximately 1,800 monthly.

Furthermore, the number of projects opened on Wadiz to date has exceeded 60,000, with an average funding success rate of 83% against targets. Cumulative membership has exceeded 6 million, and the number of support signatures and alarm notifications gathered on projects is approaching 20 million.
Notably, Wadiz is not limited to domestic reward-type crowdfunding business but is leading the industry with a new business model supporting small brand discovery and development as well as subsequent distribution. Based on a unique and differentiated One&Only strategy, the company is accelerating global expansion through partnerships with Japan's largest crowdfunding platform company 'Makuake' and Taiwan's 'Zec Jack,' actively supporting the overseas expansion of promising domestic startups.
Shin Hye-seong, CEO of Wadiz, stated, "Over more than 10 years, the endless challenges and support of many people have created diverse success stories," and added, "We will continue to expand a robust value chain for startups so that small challenges can gain greater opportunities and sustain continued growth."
