[Transparency Report] November 2023 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been publishing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing reports submitted by Wadiz members and the results of actions taken in response,and is structured around funding report submission data. Through this report, Wadiz transparently discloses actual data on how we respond to project issues, so that members can use our platform with greater confidence and trust.
1. Report Submission Data
- Report submission countis measured based on the number of reports received through the 'Report' feature on the right side of the funding project page , and if there are multiple reports for a single project, they are counted separately by the number of individual reporters.
- Report submission typeincludes 'intellectual property infringement', 'false statements in story', 'distribution through other channels of the same product', 'community policy violation', etc. consisting of reasons that contradict the purpose of funding or undermine the order of the Wadiz community.
- Report submission data represents a key indicator showing potential risks that could directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and complaints.

2. Number of Reported Projects
- 'Number of reported projects'refers to the number of projects that received one or more reports, and even if multiple reports are submitted, they are counted as one if they target the same project.
- The proportion of reported projects compared to open projectsrepresents the proportion of projects among all projects that could cause supporter damage and complaints, serving as a key indicator.

3. Coming Soon Report Rate
- 'Coming soon' refers toa pre-launch service that allows supporters to preview the project story before official funding begins.
On the coming soon project page, a notification request feature is provided for when the official funding opens. - Reports at the coming soon stagefunction as a pre-detection of risks before official project launch, enabling proactive problem-solving before the official funding opens.

4. Report Project Statistics by Category
- Classification data by category of projects that received reports this month.
- This month, out of 17 total project categories, 11 categories received reports.

5. Report Project Handling Results
- All reports properly submitted areundergoing fact-checking.
- For projects where issues are confirmed, follow-up actions are taken in accordance with funding report policy.
- During the fact-checking process, Wadiz requests maker statement throughofficial notice if needed, and when necessary, discloses the reported facts and statement request contents to supporters through news.

As a result of fact-checking on properly submitted reports based on policy, they are determined to have 'issues', and follow-up procedures such as funding refund, deletion of inappropriate content, or project cancellation are in progress, or properly submitted reports are determined to have 'no issues' based on policy and are closed without further action. - Processing in Progress
Fact-checking is in progress on properly submitted reports, or follow-up procedures are in progress as they are determined to have 'issues' based on policy. - Processing Unnecessary
Cases of 'requirement-unmet reports' or 'already-concluded issues', where no follow-up procedures have been taken.
⁕ Requirement-unmet reports: Reports received that do not meet submission requirements or lack supporting evidence for the content, making it difficult to proceed with follow-up procedures.
⁕ Already-concluded issues: Issues that meet submission requirements but have already undergone fact-checking in the past as of this month, determined to have 'no issues' and concluded, or issues where necessary measures have been completed through 'project cancellation' or 'funding refund', making follow-up procedures unnecessary.
6. Service Monitoring Data
- Wadiz is committed to continuously building and protecting a safe funding ecosystem that users can trust.
- Service monitoring datais the number of service monitoring activities and action data conducted by the Trust and Safety Team.
- In November, a total of 1,245 monitoring activities were conducted, of which 62 actions were taken.

⁕ Other channel distribution monitoring for same product: If the reward of a funding project is sold through other channels or funding is conducted for the same product as the reward before the reward is shipped, it falls under the monitoring target for other channel distribution of the same product.
⁕ Monitoring for misuse beyond news purpose: If information unrelated to the original purpose of news (promotion of other sales channels, link guidance, etc.) is posted, it falls under the monitoring target for misuse beyond the purpose of news.
⁕ Monitoring for funding achievement rate manipulation : If a maker or a third party with interests related to the maker deliberately participates in funding to increase the funding achievement rate of the project, it falls under the monitoring target for achievement rate abuse.
⁕ Story false statement monitoring: If suspicious circumstances of false statements in the project story are confirmed, it falls under the monitoring target for story false statement monitoring.
