Wadiz, a lifestyle design crowdfunding platform, announced on the 14th that it has unveiled the final Top 100 of 'Maker of the Year' from Wadiz Awards that led trends on Wadiz over the past year.
The Wadiz Awards, which have been held since 2017, is an official year-end awards ceremony that introduces projects that have received great love and trust over the year.
'Wadiz Awards (wadiz awards) 2023' ran a dedicated special exhibition from December 22nd to January 7th, selecting nominees for Maker of the Year, and selected the top 100 teams that received high support from supporters and increased sales.
The finalists for Maker of the Year are provided with an awards-exclusive badge carrying the meaning of the fruit of challenge and sense of pride, which will be publicly displayed through the maker profile starting February 13th. The makers selected in the final Top 100 are given the opportunity to participate in the 'Super Love Maker' special exhibition, which provides record-breaking marketing benefits, and the opportunity to purchase Wadiz Awards emblems and plaques that can be used both online and offline.
In the special exhibition determining the final Top 100, products with cutting-edge and innovative technology that solve inconveniences in daily life or improve the quality of life received high scores. Representative examples include △'Photo Cube' that automatically backs up when inserted △'Treatment' that doesn't require washing △'Smart Trash Can' for comfortable trash management. By category, 'Tech·Appliances' and 'Fashion' tied for 1st place with 20% each, while 'Beauty' followed with 19%.
A Wadiz official said, "We would like to congratulate the makers who participated in Wadiz Awards 2023 and those selected in the final Top 100," and added, "Going forward, we plan to showcase events that allow makers' challenges to continue and supporters' support and encouragement culture to be sustained."
