Life Design Funding Platform Wadiz announced that it will recruit 200 small business operators to participate in the "2024 Our Neighborhood Crowdfunding Support Project" until the 28th.
The "Our Neighborhood Crowdfunding Support Project" is a program that helps small business owners grow and increase sales by receiving investments from local residents, with Wadiz participating as an operating organization in the Small Business Market Promotion Agency project. Wadiz supports small business owners facing difficulties in fundraising by providing professional training, special exhibitions, and advertising expenses so they can increase sales and grow through crowdfunding.
Wadiz has been implementing this project since last year. In 2023, approximately 330 companies participated in the project and received benefits, and participating small business projects accumulated 4.3 billion won through public investment from approximately 62,000 people.
This year, to help small businesses explore new markets, special exhibitions will be conducted by region including ▲Seoul, Metropolitan Area ▲Gyeongbuk, Gangwon ▲Chungcheong, Jeolla, Jeju and Others (Overseas). Additionally, group special exhibitions will be held regardless of regional boundaries, allowing participation in a total of 2 special exhibitions.
There are four main participation benefits. ▲Provision of professional crowdfunding training ▲Participation in ‘Fighting Small Business 2024’ exclusive special exhibition ▲Individual advertising expense support ▲Distribution of special exhibition exclusive coupons for supporters (public) and others. The policy is to provide small business owners new to online business and crowdfunding with an easy opportunity to challenge themselves and secure new customers.
Any small business owner with a Small Business Verification Certificate can participate in this project, and applications can be made through the Wadiz website until April 28. Selection criteria for small business operators evaluate growth potential including popularity, development potential, feasibility, and reliability, and selected small business owners will be notified individually on May 3.
Choi Dong-chul, Vice President of Wadiz, said "Since last year's participating small business owners showed high satisfaction, we are proceeding with the Our Neighborhood Crowdfunding Support Project again this year," and "We hope that many small business owners in each region will benefit from this."
