- Ministry of SMEs and Startups Partners with Korea Small Business Distribution Center to Prepare Small Business Growth Support Program
- Provision of Detailed Page Creation or Advertisement Marketing Services Worth 2 Million Won, Benefits Including Crowdfunding Education and Special Exhibition Participation, and Sales Channel Support for Outstanding Companies
Wadiz, a lifestyle design crowdfunding platform, announced on the 8th that it is recruiting 150 small business teams to participate in the Startup Funding Support Project.
This program is part of the online shopping mall sales support project operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Small Business Distribution Center. Wadiz supports small business owners' crowdfunding entry and success, helping early-stage small business owners who face difficulties in fundraising and customer acquisition.
The 150 selected companies will be provided with detailed page creation or advertisement marketing services worth 2 million won. In addition, through benefits such as crowdfunding education to increase understanding, guaranteed participation in special exhibitions exclusive to the support project, and sales channel support for outstanding companies after the funding project concludes, they can receive assistance in revenue growth.
Any small business owner who has a business registration number can participate. The participation procedure requires first registering as a corporate member on the Fanfandaero (fanfandaero.kr) website operated by the Korea Small Business Distribution Center and then applying for and being selected for the online shopping mall sales support project.
Choi Dong-chul, Vice President of Wadiz, stated "Crowdfunding is a necessary gateway for small business owners to develop sales channels, but many startups bear the burden of insufficient costs and workforce in the funding preparation and promotion process,” and added “We hope this support project will be of great help in developing sales channels for small business owners and startups.”
Meanwhile, Wadiz has been participating in the online shopping mall sales support project operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Small Business Distribution Center for three consecutive years, and over 240 companies have achieved cumulative crowdfunding amounts of 3.6 billion won or more through the support.
