Wadiz Launches ‘Letz,’ Team Funding Service… “A World Where Anyone Can Challenge”

Wadiz is officially launching 'Letz (Letz),' a team funding service that connects people who challenge themselves and support others.  

Wadiz, a lifedesign funding platform, announced the official launch of 'Letz' and will provide a total of 2 million won in prize money for excellent projects through a challenge event until July 15. Projects opened during the event period automatically participate in the event.

Letz is a new app-exclusive service by Wadiz that allows even those who have never crowdfunded to create a project in 3 minutes. It is a team funding service where you can open various projects such as hobbies, self-realization, donations, and environmental protection, and gather members who empathize with the cause.    

Wadiz previewed the Letz beta service in February and conducted a week-long pre-launch event. The event featured various projects including △750km running club challenge record △creating an overseas travel diary △senior citizens' first-ever portrait photo shoot △pet meetup and more.

'Team Honesty,' selected as an excellent case, successfully completed the project by raising 1.42 million won in support through the project “We are challenging ourselves to run 750km for the first time in the world.” As a benefit of being selected as an outstanding project, they held a photo exhibition and running event at Space Wadiz featuring their challenge story introduced on Letz, receiving positive response from supporting members and many others.

Another excellent case, the “Oslo-Paris Travel Diary” project leader said, “Opening a crowdfunding project was one of my bucket list items, but there was a heavy burden of proceeding as an individual rather than a business operator. It was great to attempt it easily and conveniently through Letz.” They also said, “I would have hesitated if I were alone, but I was happy to successfully complete the project with people's support.”

In this way, Letz allows anyone to realize what they have wanted to do. Project leaders can create projects by uploading a few photos and writing a brief introduction to receive support, and can also share their challenge progress through news updates. Members can participate in projects by sending support funds or leaving encouraging messages, and express their support by sharing on social media.

To commemorate the official launch of Letz, Wadiz is conducting an event that supports new challenges and encouragement. Until July 15, the platform will select 1 top outstanding project team and 2 excellent project teams to provide a total of 2 million won in challenge support funds. Outstanding project selection criteria are evaluated by combining encouraging messages, project shares, and support funds. Anyone who wants to challenge can participate, and detailed information can be found on the Wadiz homepage notice board.
