[Policy] Notification of Changes to Basic Service Fee Structure for Funding/Pre-order

Hello. This is Wadiz.
To support your continuous and diverse challenges, the basic service fee policy for funding and pre-order projects is scheduled to be revised.

From projects submitted on September 1, 2024,
the service fee will apply to successful projects that have reached 1 million won or more in funding or payment completion.

[Changes to Service Policy]

• Effective Date: September 1, 2024
• Basic Service Fee Application Target
  • Previous: All successful funding/pre-order projects
  • Updated: Successful funding/pre-order projects with 1 million won or more in funding or payment completion
    • Projects with less than 1 million won in funding or payment completion that achieve success will not be charged the basic service fee

*The changes will apply to funding/pre-order projects submitted from September 1, 2024 onwards.

[Key Information on Basic Service Fee]

• Service Fee: 90,000 won (VAT excluded)
• Application Method: After project success, the basic service fee is deducted during settlement
  • Cases where the service fee does not apply are subject to Article 7 of the Maker Terms and Conditions
• Service Details
  • Sending messages to supporters to help your project succeed
    • Message Content: Project launch notifications to supporters who opted in, deadline approaching notifications before project closure, targeted notifications to supporters who saved the project, payment incentive retargeting notifications, notifications to supporters who registered keywords, new update notifications, etc.
    • Delivery Method: App push, KakaoTalk, SMS, email, and other customized delivery according to supporters' notification consent preferences
