[Policy] Update on Maker Photo Policy in Project Story
Hello. This is Wadiz.
We are planning to partially revise our review policy so that the maker's challenge can lead to a more authentic project.
Starting with projects submitted from November 1, 2024,
The following review criteria will apply regarding 'maker photos' in the project story.
Please check this information and introduce yourself as a maker with photos that can build trust with supporters. Thank you.
What is a Maker Photo?
- A real photo that introduces the maker, which is either a portrait of the maker or a photo in which the maker appears during the project process.
- The maker photo is a required input in the story to improve project credibility and is included in the project review process.
Review Criteria
- Acceptable
- Photos showing a person or body part visible in a background related to the project
- Group photos, distant photos, back photos of the maker during the reward production process, etc.
- Not Acceptable
- Processed images that are not real photos, such as caricatures, emojis, characters, AI-generated images, etc.
- Photos of logos, objects, buildings, etc., not of people or body parts
Applicable Target
- Funding/Pre-order/Store projects submitted from 2024.11.1 (Friday)
Notes
- If the maker photo does not meet the review criteria, the project will not be immediately rejected or the submission canceled.
- If the review criteria are not met, we will send feedback including reference case guides, so please check the feedback and make corrections.
