Wadiz, a crowdfunding store platform, introduces the Wadiz Edition notebook 'BasicBook' as the new semester and new start season approaches.
'Wadiz Edition' is a brand that introduces new products developed through collaboration between Wadiz and crowdfunding makers. It gathers feedback from supporters who participated in the funding campaign, plans the product's 'Better points', and reflects this in product development.
BasicBook, combining ultra-high performance with price competitiveness, ascended to the 3rd position in the notebook brand rankings following large corporations—the startup 'Basics' made its first debut on Wadiz in 2019.
Basics actively utilized Wadiz's community to quickly reflect customer feedback in its products, and achieved unprecedented funding of 2 billion won in its first campaign.
Having acquired competitiveness to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with global brands, Basics launched a 16-inch notebook with the same specifications as competitors averaging 1 million won at the 400,000 won price range last October, setting a new record by achieving the scheduled 14-day sales target in just 2 days. The brand has now surpassed 5.6 billion won in cumulative funding.
The Wadiz Edition's 'BasicBook 14 Pro', launching exclusively on Wadiz Store on March 10th (Monday) ahead, is also a strong contender.
The BasicBook 14 Pro, which has already achieved 400 million won in Wadiz funding, features ultra-high specifications of 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD that can be used by professionals, and is being launched exclusively as a Wadiz Edition.
Not only Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, but also Premiere Pro can be used without difficulty, and simple coding work is also possible. A Wadiz-exclusive key skin and BIOS screen are provided, and for the first 30 units, wireless earphones 'BasicDot 2nd Generation' are included along with a mouse.
Most importantly, composed at a reasonable price point in the 700,000 won range, attracting nearly 4,500 pre-alarm registrations within just a week of launch opening.
A Basics official stated, "Since the brand launch, we were able to achieve a successful start by working with Wadiz, which has a systematic process, and the active feedback and support from our supporters were instrumental in our leap to become the 3rd brand in the notebook market. We have great expectations as we can now launch a BasicBook that satisfies all aspects—performance, price, and after-sales service—by reflecting past reviews and requests in this Wadiz Edition."
A Wadiz Store official also noted, "The Wadiz Edition has significant meaning in that brands that have grown and scaled through Wadiz can collaborate with Wadiz to showcase innovative products and give back to the support they've received from supporters. We plan to continuously expand the range of editions to provide the finest products with special value."
