How should I set up overseas shipping costs?
1. Please set overseas shipping costs considering 5 key factors.
- Weight of the item (reward) being shipped
- Size/Volume of the item (reward) being shipped
- Destination country (distance and conditions between origin and destination)
- Tariff policies of the destination country
- Value-added tax policies of the destination country
You can calculate costs based on the above 5 criteria and set appropriate shipping costs accordingly.
We recommend designing reward options considering that overseas shipping generally costs more than domestic shipping.
Overseas shipping costs vary depending on the logistics provider you use. (For Korea Post EMS, you can check rates directly on the Korea Post website)
Wadiz Global Shipping Agency Service will provide additional guidance after application.
2. You can set different shipping costs for each reward / country
- For each reward, you can set different shipping costs for each country that is available for participation.
- You can set shipping costs for all reward/country option combinations.
- The example below will help you understand better.

3. It is recommended to set shipping costs considering tariffs.
- In principle, the taxes incurred during customs clearance in overseas shipping are borne by international supporters.
- However, depending on the contract terms of the logistics provider you use, there may be cases where we request tariff payment from you as the maker.
- If you proceed with shipping by contracting with a logistics provider directly, please proceed according to the policy of the contracted logistics provider.
- For example, in the case of couriers such as DHL and FedEx, shipping costs are relatively high, but you as the maker can choose directly.
- When using Wadiz Global Shipping Agency Service, the standards vary by country.
- United States, Taiwan, Australia, Singapore → Supporter bears cost
- Japan → Maker bears cost
- Please refer to official materials from organizations such as the Korea Trade Association (KITA) for detailed tariff standards by country and product category.
4. Shipping cost policies differ between Korea and other countries.
Shipment to Korean supporters
- If 1 supporter selects N rewards, only 1 highest shipping cost is charged among the selected rewards
Shipment to supporters outside Korea
- If 1 supporter selects N rewards, shipping cost is charged per reward
- Shipping cost is charged by quantity when adding reward quantities
Example) When a U.S. supporter orders 1 Reward A (shipping cost 5,000 won) and 2 Reward B (shipping cost 3,000 won)
- Shipping cost: 5,000 + (3,000 X 2) = Total 11,000 won
