Wadiz announced it will introduce for the first time the large-scale art and culture fair 'Wadiz Muzium 2025' in October.
According to Wadiz, art funding in July-August this year increased 941% compared to the same period last year, demonstrating growth of more than 10 times. During the same period, payment frequency increased 13 times and the number of projects doubled, proving expanded demand across the art sector.
Riding the wave of growth in art and culture funding, this event provides full support so that creators can connect with domestic and international supporters through Wadiz and secure both fandom and marketability.
'Wadiz Muzium' is conceptualized as an exhibition open to everyone without discrimination, boundaries, or thresholds. The feature is that artists from newcomers in various fields such as art, publishing, and e-books to masters can participate. The related showcase is scheduled to run for two weeks from October 23 to November 5, and applications for participating artists will be accepted until October 14.
Participating artists who open their projects during the showcase period can receive coupons fully supported by Wadiz and complimentary marketing benefits exclusive to the showcase. Additionally, if selected as a featured project, they can receive additional support such as exposure at the top of the Wadiz main page, CRM marketing, and owned media uploads.
In particular, all artists who apply to participate will receive invitations to the '2025 Wadiz Art·Culture Conference.' The conference will be held online with live streaming from September 10 to 11, and will feature Wadiz's art and culture specialists and Bae Sung-gyu, a representative success story at Wadiz (cumulative funding of over 200 million won), sharing market entry strategies and success tips for creators.
A Wadiz official stated, "Wadiz is establishing itself as a global platform in the art and culture field beyond crowdfunding," and added, "Through 'Wadiz Muzium 2025,' we will connect the value of creativity with the global market and create a stage for domestic and international creators and audiences to grow together."
