Are there any qualifications required to become a Wadiz maker?

For a maker from outside of Korea to proceed with the project in Wadiz, they need to meet the qualifications.

If you are a maker with a Korean business license, you can proceed with the Wadiz project in the same way as the Korean maker.

1. Please check the country where you are registered as a business operator.

• Only corporations/individual businesses with business registration certificates in the following countries can become wadiz makers. 
  • Korea
  • the United States
  • China
  • Hong Kong
  • Japan
  • Germany
  • Singapore
  • Poland
  • Australia
• The country will be expanded sequentially.
• Manufacturers outside the country can also search for services, but it is not possible to proceed with the Wadiz project. 
• In the case of makers with business registration certificates outside of Korea, the Wadiz project will be carried out in the form of direct purchase sales to the Korean/global market.

2. Depending on the country of business registration, settlement will be made through Stripe Connect or PingPong Payments.

• If you are a maker with a Chinese business license, you must have a PingPong Payments account for Wadiz settlement.
  • If you use Pingpong Payments, you can safely receive settlement payments in dollars and withdraw them conveniently in local currency.
  • The exchange rate is paid in dollars (USD) by applying the real-time exchange rate of Wadiz [at the time of the final settlement execution (transfer). 
  • For individuals who do not have operators, we cannot proceed with the Wadiz project because they cannot join Ping-Pong Payments.

• If you are a maker with a business license outside of China, the settlement will be made through the Stripe Connect system. 
  • Before the project is opened, the real name certification (KYC) review through Stripe Connect must be [approved] within the Wadiz studio to book and open the project schedule.
  • In order to prevent the risk of exchange rate fluctuations, the amount of US dollars (USD) is fixed and fixed based on the [Notified Exchange Rate on the Date of Issue of Settlement] and is processed automatically to the local bank account.

3. You don't need to submit a separate document for item certification. 

• Manufacturers with business registration certificates outside of Korea do not need to register as Korean operators or mail order businesses.
• Manufacturers with business registration certificates outside of Korea do not need documents to submit item certification including KC certification when proceeding with the project.
