Shipping
Who is responsible for shipping delays or loss of direct purchase project rewards?
📍 Worldwide ex-Korea Maker
When makers with a business registration certificate from a country other than Korea proceed with a project in the form of direct purchase,
✔️ Responsibility for loss, delay, or damage occurring during the shipping process belongs to the maker.
✔️ Import or customs clearance issues that occur in the supporter's country should be the supporter's responsibility.
- International shipping may result in unexpected situations depending on each country's systems and regulations.
- It is necessary to clearly understand the legal responsibility entity at each stage and to be adequately prepared in advance.
Responsibility for problems that occur during the shipping process belongs to the maker.
- Responsibility for responding to accidents (loss, damage, delay, etc.) that occur during the reward shipping process (shipment, packaging, courier handover, export declaration, etc.) and customer service handling is with the maker.
- Therefore, if an accident occurs during this process, the maker needs to directly handle resending, refunding, or exchanging.
Responsibility for problems that occur during the process of the reward being imported to the delivery destination belongs to the supporter.
- Responsibility for import or shipping failure due to the supporter's country's customs regulations or address entry errors belongs to the supporter.
- In this case, since the maker has no obligation to refund or reship, we recommend that you write the following notice in the project.
- If the reward cannot be imported and cleared to the country designated by the supporter, it is the supporter's responsibility, and in this case, a refund is not possible.
