"Demand in Asia, Verification in Korea, Launch on Wadiz"

Wadiz participated as Korea's representative speaker at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2025) held from October 13-16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, sharing a strategy of "market verification through Korea and Asia market expansion," the company announced on the 17th.
The 45th event this year, under the theme "World's Leading Electronics Marketplace," brought together products and solutions in future demand sectors including AI & Robotics, Silver Economy, and Digital Entertainment.
According to the organizers, this year saw over 3,000 exhibitors from 20 countries and 120 teams of buyers comprised of overseas distributors and retailers visiting the venue, with prospects of large-scale consultations, orders, and partnership discussions continuing.
Jang Han-eol, Team Lead of Wadiz's Overseas Business Division, who served as a speaker, presented Wadiz's crowdfunding-based global expansion strategy of verifying product market viability in Korea through Wadiz funding and then expanding to Asia during the "E-Commerce Trends in Asia" session.
The session also featured presenters from major global platforms including JD.com, Pepita Group, and Lazada, who discussed Asia e-commerce trends and cross-border strategies.
Jang Han-eol said, "The center of demand is now in Asia," and explained, "By first verifying funding data in Korea and reducing risk through AI translation, global payment, and overseas shipping infrastructure, we can expand to Asia." He added, "Wadiz, as a crowdfunding-based launchpad, is helping makers meet global customers faster and more accurately."
Meanwhile, Wadiz officially launched its global service in May and has been showcasing "K-Funding" to customers in over 200 countries worldwide. Through AI-based translation, overseas shipping partner matching, and global targeted advertising support, the company is lowering barriers to overseas expansion. To date, approximately 370 global projects have been launched, with a cumulative total of 14,000 members from 115 countries registered as overseas members.
In late September, the platform was updated to support overseas makers' direct registration and operation. Now detailed product pages can be created directly in Korean, English, and Japanese, and transaction currency and operating hours are also set based on the maker's country. As a result, more overseas brands can now easily enter the market through Wadiz Global.
