Wadiz, Global Tech Brands' 'Stepping Stone to Korean Market'… AI Smartphones and AI Glasses Unveiled One After Another
- Hundreds of Millions of Won in Payments on Opening Day… Early Adopter Base Confirms Initial Demand
- CES Featured Products and More Global Brands Test Korean Market

Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) is being used as a platform where global tech brands first introduce their products to the Korean market. Prior to full-scale distribution expansion, overseas tech companies are increasingly confirming initial demand on Wadiz based on the response of domestic early adopters with high technology acceptance, and acquiring purchase data.
In fact, various next-generation devices such as AI-based smartphones, AI glasses supporting real-time translation functions, and wearable robots are being unveiled in Korea through Wadiz. By using pre-order-based funding to reduce inventory burden, it creates a structure where an initial user base can be secured and market response can be confirmed based on that.
iKKO's AI smartphone 'Mind One K Pro,' which was unveiled in Korea for the first time, recorded approximately 388 million won in funding on its opening day. With over 11,000 pre-notification applicants, the product achieved outstanding performance in the February tech and home appliance category, as participation continued despite it being a premium product with an average payment amount in the 780,000 won range.
LLVision's AI glasses 'Leion Hey2,' which garnered attention at CES 2026 in early this year, surpassed 100 million won in just 2 hours after the project opened. The AI wearable robot 'Hypershell,' which won the top innovation award in the robotics category at CES 2025, also recorded approximately 100 million won in funding shortly after launch. Global tech devices led by innovative technology showed rapid participation and payment in the Korean market.
This trend is not limited to recent cases. Plaud, an AI note-taking company, has also showcased new products including the 'Plaud Note' AI voice recorder multiple times on Wadiz since 2023, recording over 700 million won in cumulative funding. Global tech brands are meeting domestic consumers for the first time through Wadiz and confirming initial market response.
A Wadiz official said, "Not only overseas tech brands but also domestic companies are increasingly confirming market response on Wadiz before launching new products," and "brands with technological competitiveness are securing an initial user base through Wadiz and exploring departure points for global expansion."
