Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) has been named to the "2026 Asia Pacific High Growth Company" list announced by British economic newspaper Financial Times and global research specialist Statista, the company announced on the 20th. With this selection, Wadiz has been named to the list for the 5th time in company history.
The "Asia Pacific High Growth Company" is an annual survey conducted by Financial Times that selects 500 companies with the highest average annual revenue growth rates from over 10,000 companies in the Asia-Pacific region. It is considered a benchmark for measuring the growth competitiveness of Asian companies, evaluated based on financial data and business expansion potential.
During the evaluation period from 2021 to 2024, Wadiz recorded a revenue growth rate of 82.57% and an average annual growth rate of 22.22%, ranking 41st in the fintech sector.
Wadiz has supported maker growth by expanding its business areas from crowdfunding to pre-orders, online store, and advertising. The number of makers launching businesses or new products through Wadiz continues to increase, and to date the platform has facilitated over 90,000 projects and achieved over 1.5 trillion won in cumulative funding.
Additionally, since launching its global service last May, Wadiz has continued to expand into overseas markets. As of January this year, monthly active users (MAU) increased 2.5 times compared to the same period last year, and overseas transaction volume increased more than 8 times. Overseas users accounted for approximately 40% of total visitors.
Payments are occurring from over 40 countries worldwide including the United States, Japan, and China, and on average about 100 projects per month are connecting with overseas customers through Wadiz. Cases of global tech brands utilizing Wadiz in their Korea market entry process continue to grow, along with consumer goods such as K-beauty, K-goods, and K-fashion.
Recently, Wadiz has established base offices in Tokyo, Japan and Shenzhen, China, and is expanding collaborative foundations with overseas makers through securing local partners and holding briefing sessions.
CEO Shin Hye-sung of Wadiz stated, "This selection reflects the innovation of makers challenging new markets and Wadiz's growth trajectory," and added "Wadiz will continue to create an environment where more makers can expand into Asian and global markets."
