03· This Week's Main Issue — Supporter Misunderstanding Cases Related to Limited Edition Projects
Multiple supporter inquiries and comments have been confirmed in relation to limited edition reward projects, and we are sharing representative cases of confusion regarding product composition and sales methods.
1. Romansohn Howork Tao Encore Project
Report Content
A report was received stating that rewards sold as "limited edition" in a previous project were reopened with the same composition.
Confirmation Details
As a result of confirmation, the rewards of the encore project are identical to the existing project, but the reward price is higher compared to the existing project. Additionally, in the existing project, expressions stating "available for purchase only at that specific time" were not confirmed. Accordingly, this encore project cannot be considered consumer misunderstanding or exaggerated advertising and does not constitute a violation of the Representation and Advertising Act or Wadiz policies.
2. Hitchhiker Book Project
Report Content
An inquiry was received regarding whether a book under pre-order at an online bookstore and a Wadiz funding reward are the same product.
Confirmation Details
As a result of confirmation, the Wadiz reward is a limited edition with a separate space design applied to the side of the book, and there are differences in appearance and composition compared to books sold at general bookstores. Therefore, this cannot be considered a case of selling the same product as online bookstore sales products through funding, and it does not constitute a policy violation.
Operational Improvement Directions
Based on the above cases, Wadiz will continue to review story guidance to ensure that differences between reward composition and general sales products are clearly visible to prevent supporter misunderstanding.

We monitored 286 projects, of which 52 cases led to maker statement requests and 62 cases to non-exposure measures.

All 5 cases submitted through the report function completed their first measure, and the main report types were intellectual property infringement and operations/community policy violations.
