Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) announced on the 30th that it has issued a transparency report detailing operational status after transitioning to an AI monitoring system for all processes on April 13th.
On April 13th, Wadiz transitioned from a pre-approval system for funding projects to an AI monitoring system for all processes. This report is the first to disclose actual data on monitoring status, report submissions, and action results following the system transition. The significance lies in transparently disclosing the overall operational status of AI monitoring, beyond individual issue responses.
From April 13th to April 25th, Wadiz conducted AI monitoring of 576 ongoing projects in total. It analyzed project content, products, and community responses in real-time to proactively detect potential guideline violations, and responded with a step-by-step process of requesting explanation, non-exposure, or suspension when issues were identified.
The average time from issue detection to resolution completion is 1 day. The major issue types detected were ranked as follows: false or exaggerated advertisement expressions (42%), legally cautionary expressions (28%), investment/financial misconduct expressions (18%). Representative cases of issue detection through action conducted during this monitoring period were shared to clearly understand Wadiz's operational standards.
Additionally, the 'Report' feature allows supporters, makers, and external users to directly report any issues related to projects. While AI monitoring inspects all projects, the 'Report' feature serves as a communication channel where actual users directly inform specific issues that arise during use.
A total of 14 reports were received through the 'Report' feature during this period, with 11 of them leading to actual action. Along with this system transition, the 'Report' process was also completely upgraded from a user perspective, introducing new features for handling result feedback and customized report forms by issue type.
A Wadiz official stated, "Wadiz's vision is to create a world where anyone can take on challenges," and added "We will protect the entire process from the moment a maker's challenge begins through connection with supporters, and we will transparently share the operational status weekly."
Meanwhile, the full transparency report can be found at Wadiz Maker Center (https://makercenter.wadiz.kr/menu/23) and is updated weekly.
