We share cases where consumer confusion occurred due to reward manufacturing country mislabeling and unauthorized use of artist IP.
1. Report on False Labeling of Reward Manufacturing Country
Report Content
Consumer report was submitted regarding false manufacturing country labeling because the reward information showed the manufacturing country as Republic of Korea, but the actual product received was marked as Made in China.
Verification Content
As a result of verification, we confirmed that the lens is domestically manufactured / the frame is a Chinese-made product, and according to product labeling standards, the manufacturing country should be labeled as 'China'. Accordingly, we updated the reward information announcement and posted news to guide supporters on related content.
2. Report on Unauthorized Use of Artist IP
Report Content
In the project story, the affiliation company's permission for use of the artist's IP and information related to trademark usage could not be confirmed, and a report was submitted due to false content in official fan cafe references.
Verification Content
Currently, fact-checking is underway regarding contracts and rights relationships related to the use of artist images and names in the project, and upon confirmation of usage permissions, the project is expected to proceed normally.
Operational Improvement Direction
Based on the above cases, Wadiz will continue to strengthen inspections of project stories and reward information to prevent consumer confusion resulting from reward information mislabeling and unauthorized use of others' IP, images, and content.

It was a week where we reviewed matters related to supporter confusion received through the AI monitoring and report submission channels, and proceeded with swift processing and guidance according to operating policy standards.

AI Monitoring Action Status
We monitored 229 projects, of which 36 cases led to maker explanation requests and 3 cases to non-display measures.

Report Submission Processing Status
All 13 cases submitted through the report feature completed first action, and the major report types were intellectual property infringement and false/exaggerated advertising expression violations.
