Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) is accelerating global B2B maker discovery centered on the Asian market and expanding its local business operations in China.
Wadiz participated in 'Beyond Expo 2026' held in Macau from May 27-30 and shared strategies for global brands' market entry into Korea and Asia, while strengthening cooperation with local Chinese makers, the company announced on the 4th.
Celebrating its 6th edition this year, Beyond Expo is Asia's largest technology innovation expo with approximately 30,000 participants, 1,200+ exhibiting companies, and 400+ speakers. This year's event was held under the theme 'AI: Digital to Physical,' featuring global innovative companies and investment-related professionals in the fields of physical AI, hardware, and consumer goods.
Wadiz CEO Shin Hye-sung was invited as the Korean platform's leading speaker at the 'BGlobal Summit' session held on May 28, marking her second consecutive year. Notably, at this session, CEO Shin Hye-sung shared Asia's crowdfunding ecosystem cooperation expansion and cross-border market expansion strategies alongside crowdfunding platform leaders representing each country, including Ryotaro Nakayama, CEO of Japan's Makuake, and Ben Lee, Hardware Business Director of Taiwan's Zeczec.
Additionally, Martin Mozming, who joined as Wadiz's China General Manager this year, participated at an exclusive booth and directly communicated with local makers including Chinese innovative brands and hardware companies. On-site inquiries continued regarding market entry into Korea and methods to secure initial customers through crowdfunding, and Wadiz introduced global services including AI translation, global payment, and country-specific shipping settings.
CEO Shin Hye-sung stated, "Asia is now being connected like a single market," and "Wadiz is playing the role of a hub in the crowdfunding ecosystem by connecting Asian brands and supporters."
Meanwhile, since its global service launch in May last year, Wadiz has expanded its contact points with global consumers, with global supporters registering from 117 countries and actual payments made from over 40 countries. Furthermore, following the establishment of an office in Tokyo, Japan last year, Wadiz opened an office in Shenzhen, China in April this year, strengthening its strategy for the Asian market.
