CASE 01 AI-Generated Virtual Person Undisclosed Advertisement Case
Beauty / Advertising Standards & Fair Trade Commission Guidelines / Modification
01 · Detection
AI Monitoring
Detected a scene in the project story image where a virtual person, seemingly AI-generated, uses and recommends a product, with no disclosure marking that the person is virtual.
02 · Review
Operator Review · Additional Materials
Reviewed whether it constitutes recommendation or endorsement by a virtual person according to the Fair Trade Commission's Recommendation and Endorsement Review Guidelines (effective June 1, 2026), and whether it meets media-specific disclosure requirements (text/photo/video).
03 · Action
Story Modification Request
Provided guidance on media-specific disclosure methods for materials with missing virtual person markings and requested story and image modifications.
CASE 01 Detailed Example
AI-Generated Virtual Person Undisclosed Example
This is an example where an advertisement recommending or endorsing a product by an AI-generated virtual person lacks disclosure marking. This could be mistaken for real person experience and may violate the "Act on Fair Labeling and Advertising." (Fair Trade Commission Recommendation and Endorsement Review Guidelines, effective June 1, 2026)
02 · This Week's Complaint Intake Status
This week, no significant complaints were received.
While no major consumer complaints were received, Wadiz does not wait for complaints but proactively monitors reward quality issues that occur at the shipping and delivery stages and takes preemptive action. This issue covers cases from that initiative.

CASE 01 Cool Jet Fan
Action Details / All units reshipped
Issue Description
Supporter feedback indicated weak wind intensity and high operating noise.
Verification Results
Performance specification differences in wind intensity and noise were found between sample rewards and actual logistics warehouse rewards.
Action Details
All units will be reshipped with reproduced products without reward recovery.
CASE 02 Cooling Quilt
Action Details / All units reshipped
Issue Description
Printing peeling was observed when washing the cooling quilt.
Verification Results
Upon inspection of the production process, it was confirmed as a product defect related to printing durability.
Action Details
All units will be reshipped with improved products without reward recovery.
CASE 03 Stand Fan
Action Details / Condition Improvements
Issue Description
While not a product defect, overall finishing quality fell short of expectations and there was feedback about button operation noise.
Verification Results
Although not defective, the exchange and return costs were found to be excessively set. (After opening: 30,000 KRW / Unopened: 15,000 KRW)
Action Details
Determining the supporter burden was excessive, we requested maker cooperation and adjusted the return shipping cost to 10,000 KRW.
Operations Protection Direction
Even before complaints are received, Wadiz independently monitors reward quality issues at shipping and delivery stages. We will continuously strengthen the environment where supporters can participate in funding with confidence by reshipping all defective products and adjusting conditions that are not defective but impose excessive supporter burdens to reasonable levels through maker cooperation.
This week was a week where we proactively handled reward quality issues discovered through AI monitoring and independent inspections with no significant complaints.
