Wadiz Funding Success Guide | How to Increase Your Chances of Success on Your Second Attempt After a First Failure

The maker who changed this will get 10 million won+!
Retry Guide After Funding Failure
It's helpful for people like this
- I want to prepare properly for the first funding and succeed
- I've had one failure, and I don't want to repeat the same experience
- I want to achieve more than 10 million won in the re-challenge
The success or failure of a re-challenge is determined by "what has changed?" 68% of the projects that did not change much in the first project experienced failure again, and the project that changed the notification application, opening schedule, rewards, and story was successful by raising more than 10 million won.
According to Wadiz data, 68% of 654 projects retried without success experiences have failed again. It means that if you check the important points in the first funding again and don't change, the results will be repeated. Then, what and how did the maker, who challenged funding again and achieved more than 10 million won in success, change? When I compared 2,789 projects that were retried after the failure, the answer was in four points: notification application, scheduled opening, rewards, and story.
* Changes in the re-challenge project compared to the previous failure project of the same maker.

1. Biggest difference, notification request
The number of applications for re-failed makers' notifications has hardly increased from 108 to 115. On the other hand, the successful maker, which exceeded 10 million won, increased the number of notification applicants nine-fold from 145 to 1,307.
The failed group has scheduled the opening for 7 days, just as short as before. On the other hand, the group that exceeded 10 million won has set a longer schedule from the 13th to the 15th. The overall data also shows that the probability of success exceeds 50% when operating the scheduled opening for 21 to 27 days.

|
| Less than 7 days | 2.8% |
| 14th to 20th | 39% |
| 21st to 27th | 52% |
If the opening schedule is short, there is no time for advertisements to learn or for notification applications to accumulate. In the re-challenge, secure at least two weeks upside down from the desired date of opening, and make the first one or two days a time to start the project opening by informing existing fans and acquaintances directly.
Case 1: National Museum of Korea Mews Gold Crown Series (recruiting KRW 140 million)
I made the notification application from 15 people in the previous project to 2,926 people in the re-challenge. It is a textbook case that changed all the key important points from 6th to 14th, 3 to 7 rewards, 19 to 48 images, and so on.

2. I'll give you at least 6 rewards
The re-failure group has four rewards, which are the same as before. On the other hand, the 10 million won+ group increased from four to six. Even with the overall data, the success rate of projects with more than eight reward options is 89%, which is 23.4%p different from projects with less than three (65.5%).
The key here is not just to increase the number, but to make a ladder. It is an entry-mainstream-top three-tier configuration that lowers the threshold to entry rewards of less than 10,000 won, divides the early bird stage into the main single product, and raises the customer price to more than 100,000 won. 86.3% of the 10 million won+ project made up a reward of 100,000 won or more.
Case 2: Olive oil swallowing with capsules (recruitment of KRW 60 million)
We expanded the rewards from 3 in the previous project to 10 in the re-challenge. The notification application was also changed from 103 to 1,292, and the opening schedule was also changed from 6th to 14th. It stands out that the ladder was made with a set of quantities to suit the characteristics of consumables.

3. Story is rich in both image and text
The detailed page image of the failed group remained the same on Chapter 17 and on the re-challenge. On the other hand, the 10 million won+ group increased from 34 pages to 45 pages, creating a more lively story than the detailed page created by the failed group. Even in the total data, if there are less than 20 images in the detailed page, the probability of success is significantly reduced to 5%. At this time, if you add a GIF to the introduction of the detailed page that best shows the charm of this project, you can make your supporter read my story to the end.

4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. What happens to the supporter payment if funding fails?
A. Since funding is a structure in which payments are executed only when the goal is achieved, the supporters will not be charged the payment in case of failure.
Q. When and how can I apply for a re-challenge after I fail?
A. There is no limit to the re-challenge itself, but there are conditions that the data says. Start a new project after organizing which of the four points (notification application, open scheduled, rewards, and story) to change. Rather than re-opening quickly without preparation, I recommend scheduling it at a time when you can secure more than two weeks of scheduled opening.
Q. If I failed once, would I be removed from the "first funding" promotion benefit criteria?
A. I see the first funding promotion in progress (30% off commission) as a 'project success standard'. So if you're a maker with no history of Wadiz success, you can get your first funding fee when you try again.
Q. What about the advertising fee if I execute the ad in a late payment and the funding fails?
A. Regardless of the success or failure of the funding, the actual advertising expenses are subject to settlement. However, if funding fails, there may be no or insufficient settlement, so in this case, Wadiz will proceed with the payment in the form of a separate claim (such as a request for deposit after issuing a tax invoice).
