How do I write refund/exchange/AS policies for funded and pre-order projects?
You can enter this in the Maker Studio [Policy] menu.
- Wadiz's refund policy applies to funded and pre-order projects.
- If you have defects, malfunctions, or exchange policies that may occur due to the nature of your project and rewards, please inform them separately in Maker Studio's [Project Management] - [Story Writing] - [Project Story] (bottom of the detail page) and [Policy] - [A/S Policy].
1) What is a defect?
- It refers to defects discovered immediately upon receipt of the product.
- The refund request period for reward defects is within 3 months from the date of receiving the reward, or within 30 days from the date of discovering the fact.

2) How do I write a reward exchange/AS policy?
- If you want to indicate your own exchange/AS policy in addition to Wadiz's refund policy, please provide the following information.
- Applied when defects occur during use 7 days after receiving the reward
- Exchange/AS request and warranty period
- Exchange/AS contact information (specific phone number, email address, etc.)
- Whether shipping costs are incurred during exchange/AS and who bears the cost (example) Round-trip shipping fee of 6,000 won, supporter bears the cost
- Phenomena that are not defects but could be mistaken for defects (example) Patterns or seams due to material characteristics
3) Can I apply my own refund policy?
- Funded and pre-order projects must follow the refund policy implemented by Wadiz. It is difficult to implement your own refund and return policies different from the Wadiz policy.
- All refunds and returns are only possible through card payment cancellation based on Wadiz's refund policy.
4) Does the refund policy apply to intangible rewards?
- The refund policy applies equally to intangible rewards such as performances, exhibitions, and lectures.
- When a major defect occurs in an intangible reward or delivery is delayed, supporters can request a refund.
- You can also check detailed information about intangible rewards in refund policy.
5) Where can supporters check the policy?
- The content you enter in the Maker Studio [Policy] menu is displayed in the [Refund & Policy] section at the top of the project page.
- You can check it as soon as the project is made public.
