What are the standards I need to follow before opening my project?
If you meet the standards we provide, you can open your project right now.
1) Is the purpose and scope of your project clear?
- The project must not harm public value.
- It must fall into at least one of the following categories: Product, Cultural Content, or Public Benefit Sharing.
- Implementation must be feasible beyond just samples and ideas.
2) Is your funding usage plan clear?
- You must clearly state your purpose for raising funds through crowdfunding.
- You must specifically explain who will use the funding, when, where, and how.
3) Are you ready to build trust in your project and yourself as a maker?
- Your project story must contain only clear information that can verify facts.
- If the design or specifications change after opening the project, you must inform supporters through updates in advance.
- Your maker introduction must include your photo, name, and affiliation in as much detail as possible.
- As a maker, you must be prepared to sincerely engage with supporters and have the time and commitment to lead the project.
4) Can you provide rewards?
- Makers must provide supporters with fair rewards corresponding to the funding amount.
- Depending on the type of reward, additional documents may be requested. If the documents do not satisfy specific requirements, it may be difficult to open the funding.
5) Have you checked the precautions for your project type?
- For performance & event projects, you must provide accurate information such as venue and performer names.
- For publishing projects, the manuscript must be completed and the publication schedule must be confirmed.
- For product projects, you must have a prototype and disclose images that demonstrate the product's characteristics.
6) Would you like to run multiple projects simultaneously?
- All makers can run multiple projects simultaneously when conducting their first funding.
- However, simultaneous execution may be restricted according to our internal maker evaluation criteria.
- (Example) Repeated shipping delays, project cancellation due to infringement of others' intellectual property rights, etc.
※ In such cases, Wadiz may request project modifications.
- When the story lacks completeness or has readability issues
- When there are grammatical errors or typos that interfere with supporter understanding
- When image quality is below standard or videos and audio fail to play
- When there are expressions inconsistent with crowdfunding
※ In such cases, some of the project story may need to be removed before opening.
- Content that discriminates against minorities or infringes on the human rights of others
- Cases where specific nationalities, races, religions, ethnicities, genders, disabilities, etc. are disparaged
- Cases involving personal information leaks, insults about others, or personal attacks
- Content with political, religious, or sexual bias
- Content including vulgar language, profanity, or offensive material
- Violation of intellectual property rights
- Content that encourages users to engage in illegal activities
- Content that is obscene or sexually explicit
※ In such cases, project opening itself becomes difficult.
- Projects intended to damage others' reputation or cause harm
- Projects intended to commit criminal acts, undermine national interests, or harm public welfare
- Projects with political, religious, or sexual bias.
- In particular, during periods close to election dates, the possibility that "projects including political content" could influence elections cannot be ruled out, so
- we expand and apply the restriction to include "projects containing politically related content" as impossible to proceed.
- Cases that violate applicable laws or have the purpose of undermining social order or public morals
- Cases where the product planned to be provided as a reward is currently or has been running a project on another crowdfunding platform (limited to domestic crowdfunding platforms)
- Cases where unrealistic goals are set without feasibility or lack specific project implementation plans
- Cases where preparation is insufficient, resulting in high risks in reward creation
- Cases that justify superstition, folk remedies, or spiritualism not verified by medicine or science
- Cases where the intention to cause controversy or disputes is greater than the intention to create
- Other cases that do not meet the project conditions set by Wadiz
- Cases where the project's completeness is lacking or readability is poor
- Cases where content is created that does not align with Wadiz Story Guidelines
※ In such cases, even if the project has been opened, it may be cancelled.
Funding manipulation is not permitted under any circumstances.
- If we discover instances where a maker or related parties participate in funding directly and intentionally process payment failures (funding manipulation), Wadiz will take supporter protection measures regardless of the amount.
- Not only will penalties be charged as a reason for project cancellation, but legal action may be taken against Wadiz brand damage and deceptive practices toward supporters.
