Why is personal information protection important?
If you misuse a supporter's personal information, you may face administrative penalties under the Personal Information Protection Act
- If a supporter's personal information is exposed or leaked online, you may face administrative penalties such as fines or penalties.
- You must protect personal information to prevent damage not only to yourself as a maker, but also risks to your supporters.
1) A supporter's personal information can only be used for the consented purposes (confirming order information and shipping, notices related to product shipment, and handling inquiries) and cannot be used for any other purpose.
- Please be careful not to write personal information in public spaces such as product detail pages or comments.
- You cannot keep a supporter's personal information and send promotional messages. Sending advertisements without explicit consent from the individual is prohibited.
- You should not separately collect contact information from supporters who left negative reviews and contact them. If the review contains excessive insults or profanity, please contact the store customer center (help.store@wadiz.kr).
- You cannot upload or promote store-related content in the funding page's updates section. Funding supporters are supporters who have not consented to receive information about the store project.
- If you write updates, notifications will be sent to supporters who liked, supported, or participated in the project. At this time, it may be considered inappropriate use of personal information.
2) If a supporter's personal information has been leaked due to unavoidable circumstances, please respond as follows.
- Immediately delete posts containing personal information.
- To minimize damage, please immediately notify about the situation.
- When notifying, please specifically explain the details regarding the incident, including the items of personal information exposed or leaked, the time of occurrence, and the circumstances.
- Depending on the situation, you may need to file a personal information leak report with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
- If damage has occurred to a supporter, please guide them to use dispute mediation procedures and legal/punitive damages claims.
