What is a Transparency Report
A Transparency Report (Transparency Report) is a report that contains user personal information requested by government agencies for purposes such as investigation and the company's response status to it. Not only global companies (Google, Facebook, etc.) but also domestic companies like Naver and Kakao, which conduct platform businesses based on personal information, are voluntarily distributing transparency reports to protect user rights.
Why does Wadiz publish a Transparency Report?
Wadiz is a crowdfunding platform where projects that exist in the world are gathered through members' funding and support. Wadiz has the responsibility to operate the platform safely so that members' funding activities can flow to projects that did not exist in the world. To do this, Wadiz wants to transparently disclose the details of reports received by members on Wadiz and how Wadiz has responded to them. We believe this is our responsibility to members who trust and fund on Wadiz. Rather than just voicing the goal of minimizing negative projects, Wadiz has published transparency reports to share with members the progress we are actually making toward the goal step by step.
Contents of Transparency Report
Wadiz's Transparency Report contains projects on which members have directly raised issues to Wadiz and Wadiz's response status to them, with the main contents consisting of report receipt details and Wadiz's action details. In the future, the transparency report will also reflect requests for user information from government agencies in relation to personal information protection.
- Report Submission : Content reported by members to Wadiz through reporting within a project, which mainly includes false stories, intellectual property infringement, distribution through other channels, harm to social public interest, and loss of contact with makers.
- Action Details : It refers to all Wadiz's action content in response to member reports and refund requests. Common action activities include fact-checking conducted on issue matters and disclosure of maker explanation materials, and include action activities such as project suspension, cancellation, or post deletion according to results.
- User Information Request Details (scheduled) : Content corresponding to user information requested by government agencies for purposes such as investigation, which is largely divided into communication records, communication restriction measures, communication fact confirmation materials, and search warrants. The number of requests for each item, the number of processed cases, and the number of accounts are disclosed, but some sensitive information may not be disclosed.
