Influencers who gain the support of their fans have met with Wadiz, a funding platform full of 'successfully funded projects recognized by fans.'
Wadiz, a lifestyle design funding platform, announced on the 8th that it will hold a special showcase 'Wadiz Suddenly' from the 4th to the 19th, introducing products and funding challenge stories created directly by influencers.
This event was planned to recruit influencers preparing for product development and brand launching through funding, share success know-how, and create opportunities to gather new fandoms and communicate through Wadiz. Following the breakthrough of 10,000 pre-notification registrations, it is attracting attention by achieving 320 million won in just one day after the showcase opening.
'Wadiz Suddenly' carries the meaning of 'a business challenge story that seemed like it would come out easily with just a thought, but turned out to be difficult,' along with the meaning that popular influencers are beginning a new challenge as Wadiz makers.
This showcase features products from 10 favorite influencers, including △'Football Socks' developed by former national team player Lee Young-pyo △'SNS Lecture' by influencer Oh Eun-hwan, who achieved 12 consecutive sellouts △'Jeju Stone Katsu' created by 9.8 million child president HeyJini and Kidsworks PD, which can be met through funding.
The greatest characteristic of the projects introduced this time is that they are products presented by influencer makers who reflected feedback from their fans while communicating with them. Chamssaebom, a beauty YouTuber and 8-year brush brand manager participating in this showcase, has been communicating with followers by revealing the entire process of brush brand development on his YouTube channel before opening the funding.
Meanwhile, this funding challenge by influencers is not the first time. In the 'Influencer Festival' Season 1 held last June, despite most influencers being their first funding challenge, they raised about 100 million won on the first day of project opening, ranked 1st in real-time rankings, and sold out all quantities prepared upon opening, drawing high interest from Wadiz members centered around followers.
A Wadiz official stated, "Funding is greatly influenced by the maker's communication ability in determining success, and influencers have the advantage that they can prepare and develop funding together with followers with whom strong relationships have been formed," and added, "We will create more opportunities for influencers in various fields to start and grow through funding."
